“Lovely people always working there. I’ve gotten great vegan restaurant suggestions from the workers there. The hot bar always has so many vegan gf options. and obviously the grocery store has a lot as well. The vegan protein section is stacked! Updated from previous review on 2026-08-17”

“Had a small issue there that wasn't even worth complaining about and they rectified the issue to a great extent. Their prices are bit up there but I have a pretty good experience there generally and they have some good deals on wings and sushi and such things. Good stuff as far as what I've tried. Really hope they don't stop the deals because I'd like to continue going there.”

“Gold Coast International Market is one of the best shops for healthy and lovely African groceries for African, Ghanaian, and more Authentic meals like: Fufuo and Palm nut soup; (Abɛnkwan), Banku with Okra soup, Kenkey with shito or pepper, Koobi, Grilled tilapia, waakye etc.…, at affordable prices. Customer services are also very good 👍🏼, and moving on to make a purchase would be received with more joy, on Saturdays from 12:00Pm-6:00pm, Jackie's Authentic African Cuisine is always on the street to serve with good and healthy food like Acheke, waakye, fried rice with chicken, Bofrot/puff puff, and more, for the set goals of Gold Coast International Market 😀.

“I am giving a 5 star review to this store primarily for Ennasence who gave me one of the most memorable customer care experiences. I appreciate her so much, not just for great customer service, but also for thinking ahead and meeting a need I didn't even realize I needed for an Instacart order. I was checking out for 3 members, and one order was an in store pick up. She effortlessly bagged it in paper and I didn't have to ask her to separate the items by Frozen, Fridge, Shelf, etc.. and she even told me how many bags I had for each as I was going to the staging area. When I say excellent customer service, ahead of the game and was friendly the entire encounter even with lines backed down the aisle. She was working at a fast pace that allowed each customer to be appreciated but was getting people in and out the line doing her part to help this store run efficiently. I complimented her to the manager while I was in store, I just needed to go the extra mile for her as she went for me, because this was a white glove, memorable, exemplary customer service experience and I am grateful for her and her hard work. Thank you Ennasence.”
“Closes at 12am if you need to do late night grocery shopping after 11pm stop by it’s a little farther from the food lions in Greensboro near west gate city blvd and west market but they are usually restocked on items and food.”

“Well, my fiancé went to get gas there on her break from lunch and pump number one has a hole in the black line and as she was pumping gas, it’s literally pouring out out of it and I just hope that no fire starts nobody gets hurt or anything and I tried to call the number several times and I left a message but nobody will answer so I just wanted to try to help y’all out and let yall know”
“Was happy to see this place it was like a NYC Bodega. Had everything you would need if you're staying at the nearby hotels. It just closes a little too early should at least stay open until midnight.”
“I go here quite often, and they've got a fantastic variety of things. Food, drinks, snacks, lots of other things as well. A good variety of toiletries, things for your car, and tons more. Even though I personally don't use these things, they also have a large variety of smokes, and lottery tickets. Thier prices for gas is usually lower than most. The place is always clean as well.I do recommend coming here. A+ ??”
“May 2026, they are remodeling once again (think this is 3rd time since we've lived in the area). This remodel, so far, is impressive. Store is usually well stocked, staff is awesome (say hi to Herbie). I shop here way too often... ?”
“Food Lion, many years ago was known as Food Town.
It's a regional grocery store with a small town feel,yet has a wide variety of food items for everyone. Most have the usual produce and a deli/bakery. I feel that they have an excellent meat department. A caviot about the meat department... back in the early 1980's a local TV station ran a investigation about the out of date stamps being covered over with later dates. This changed their meat departments way of operations thus completely, turning around to be transparent and in terms became known as the best meat to be had. To this day,if I want a good steak; this is the first stop I make. Did I mention that most Food Lions have a chicken wing bar. Also the produce is kept on a fresh rotation. In summary; the prices are fair and the stores are clean. I would recommend Food Lion for your grocery needs.”

“Staff has always been pretty friendly to me and the store is within walking distance of my home so the convenience is great. My only issue is the pricing of some items. Not so much the cost but the fact that there are little to no price stickers/labels on things in the store. This is a bit bothersome because I have to ask the price of each item at checkout. If they just labeled prices the store could be great.”

“I love me some dollar general. Especially the Dollar Generals that have their brand of potato chips for a dollar you can't beat it and they taste better than lays or Ruffles and did I mention they're a dollar their Clover Valley Dollar General brand absolutely the best potato chips and I got the best large bag for $3 and you have the 16 oz $1 cans of Mountain Dew I wish they would have Diet. I stopped at the Dollar General just about every time I see one”
