State Employees' Credit Union has employees who are extremely helpful and thorough. The credit union offers an array of products and has well-staffed locations. Customers can donate their $1 month checking fee to the charity foundation. Although the savings/loan rates are not as good as online banks, they are better than many big banks. Some customers have experienced issues with the ATM, but overall, the credit union provides a positive experience, making it nice to bank with a local credit union. The staff, including those at the Mebane location, are great to work with in setting up accounts.
