My 2015 Dodge Challenger was hit from behind by someone who took responsibility for the accident. This was the first time my car had been damaged. I had always taken excellent care of it and hoped to get at least another 5 or 6 years out of it.
On the recommendation of my mechanic at Whitley Automotive, I took it to Little Detroit Paint & Body in Locust NC. I could not be happier with the entire experience. The staff and especially owner Mike Tucker was incredibly attentive, understanding, and helpful throughout the entire process.
Little Detroit Paint & Body managed all communication directly with the other driver's insurance company, which saved me a great deal of time and stress, while regular updates on the repair progress gave me peace of mind. Initially, it seemed the car might be declared a total loss due to its age and high mileage, a prospect that caused me significant anxiety. Having recently retired, the potential expense of purchasing a replacement vehicle was something I needed to avoid. Fortunately, Mike advocated strongly on my behalf, successfully persuading the insurance company to repair my car based on its well-maintained condition and true market value.
The quality of the work performed by Little Detroit Paint & Body was truly exceptional. Despite considerable damage from a rear-end collision, their skilled technicians restored my car to brand-new condition. Furthermore, Mike went above and beyond by installing a new cruise control steering wheel button that I had purchased before the accident.

“Purchased a new Die-hard battery. While the guy went to disconnect the terminal and because it was corroded, it kinda snapped off. He jumped the battery and suggested I go to Pep boys (across the street) to have the terminals replaced and so I did. Guy was professional and knew enough not to continue working on something he couldn't fix.”
