“Stopped by here while visiting Mt Airy from Princeton, WV and bought a few items including ice for lunch. Grocery store had that old time atmosphere from days gone by. Everyone needs to support this mom and pop Grocery store, not many of them left. Will stop by here again while in the area.”

“This is an excellent grocery store with a great deli, meat dept, produce section and wine and beer. The staff here are always friendly and helpful. We have two dogs and this store has a large selection of refrigerated Pet Fresh dog food. If you are looking for a great grocery store in Mt Airy I highly recommend Lowes Foods of Mount Airy.”

“The set up in this Food Lion is the best one around. I like the split aisles in the meds and detergent. All the food lions in our town are set up totally different. This one has self check outs. I don't believe the others do.”

“They were having a 40% off sale on clothes and end of season items. The store was fully stocked had halloween and Christmas items above regular items the are located on renfro street. Plenty of parking.”

“There’s a women there ( forgot her name but black hair and glasses) that is super sweet and kind! Been coming here for about a year and she’s by far the nicest employee!”
“There was a girl working there that was so good to me. I asked her if she had any fall napkins and she walked over to where they were and got them off top shelf for me . She was very nice to me.”
“This was a fairly typical Walmart experience. Lots of chaotic people movements. Lots of people going in all directions. Store employees who have never heard of giving right of way to customers. Store was reasonably stocked.”

“I like to buy certain items at Aldi. We found 45 calorie bread that we used for weight watchers and use it still because it tastes good. Also, we found 1-point tortillas for making wraps. Their moscato wine is one of my favorites and so reasonably priced! We also love their dark chocolate bars.”
