“I love this store , ive been coming here for years and years , but the only reason i didnt give 5 stats is a its a big problem for me sometimes when i buy the hamburger the inside is brown so now i go on tuesdays to get the fresh meats lol”
“Stopped by here while visiting Mt Airy from Princeton, WV and bought a few items including ice for lunch. Grocery store had that old time atmosphere from days gone by. Everyone needs to support this mom and pop Grocery store, not many of them left. Will stop by here again while in the area.”
“If your looking for the best produce and great prices, Food Lion is the place to go. If you get their MVP card you can save a lot and get other items at a great price if you down load the app and watch the ads. Wal-mart continues to raise their produce prices and it's always a hit and miss. If your not happy the way the produce looks at Food Lion on the shelf because it get's down to the last few, the associate has always went back to get more if it is in stock. II know produce is not easy to manage, but Food Lion does it the best. Food Lion also donates a lot of produce to the local food pantry as well as other items. Way To Go!. I buy a lot of produce for myself as well as my animals. I try to always watch my prices. Food Lion has my Vote!”

“Such a fun experience for a grocery store. A friend visiting Mt. Airy from New York, wanted some local beer to take back to his brothers for Christmas gifts. Lowes has a great selection and a bar where we had a couple of beers while we reflected on our remodeling work we had just completed. What a pleasant experience… and at a grocery store.l!”
“Great neighborhood grocery store. Very clean, stocked, and not too crowded which I love! Cashiers there are always friendly and get you rung up quickly. They also offer Food Lion ToGo which I use often, and they always do a great job!”
“Just went in yesterday to get seasoned chicken and beef. great service from the guys here. also has a taco truck beside the shop that has the best food in town. the ladies who cook the food are awesome at what they do. the food is great”

“They were having a 40% off sale on clothes and end of season items. The store was fully stocked had halloween and Christmas items above regular items the are located on renfro street. Plenty of parking.”
“As far as dollar generals go, this one is nicely kept and organized. I've seen some really poorly managed stores. One thing to keep an eye out for is the Best By dates on chips. I found multiple bags out of date here. Staff is good to pull them and are very friendly!”
“There was a girl working there that was so good to me. I asked her if she had any fall napkins and she walked over to where they were and got them off top shelf for me . She was very nice to me.”
“I was in store yesterday looking for a item,unable to find it. I ask a employee ,Alex, stocking shelves if she knew were item was located.She checked her computer,and told me located in aisle O 23. Then another shopper ask her&she told them aisle. I started to aisle, and she met me with item requested.Most employees ignore shoppers.A special "Thank You" to Alex.”

“Best staff at any DG I've been in. Forgot my phone inside the store, when I realized I didn't have it, I called the store, they were already closed but took their own time to look for my phone, found it and even Came to my home to drop it off for me! Awesome staff, Always Super clean!”

“Love Aldi's! Their fruits and produce lasts longer than other stores! The prices are hard to beat! They have a lot of different hummus to choose from! A lot of healthy foods and snacks, egg white wraps, kombucha. And the 2 middle aisles are seasonal items, from hammocks to candles! The meats are really good and a lot cheaper than other stores!”
