“Catherine just handled an estate sale for me. I was moving into a new house and starting over and buying everything new. I was overwhelmed with thinking about the clean out. Catherine came to my rescue and made my move soooooo easy. All I had to do was box the things I wanted to keep and she took care of the rest. She had a two day sale at my house and cleaned out everything I didn’t want. Whatever furniture didn’t sell at the estate sale she took to her thrift store to sell. I knew I wouldn’t get much from my used furniture with trying to sell it on marketplace myself, so why the hassle at such a busy time in my life. Catherine is so personable and actually cares about helping people. I would use her EVERYTIME. Thankyou .. Cat.. for making my move so easy. You’re a Gem!!”
“I couldn’t afford the 2500. Vet bill to have my dogs teeth cleaned and one extraction. Fortunately, someone recommended SFA it took a long time, but we got it done for 295. And my little girl is feeling 100%. Thank you so much for bringing there for those of us who love or animals but live on SS.”

The place constantly gets new stock in it seems, and sometimes you can find some truly rare items here (though the really rare stuff is often much more expensive)”

“I like to browse the store to see what catches my eye. Not really a place you can count on something being there that you are looking for. The sections are well labeled and organized. The items are fairly clean.The prices on most items are decent.”
“I've called a few thrift stores with a few questions today as I'm new to Charlotte and 95% of them have been rude and tell me, they don't know or they don't have time that I have to come in and see .(They were questions like do y'all sell tie's and what time do you all close I know to keep it short and sweet because I work in customer service) BUT when I called Carolina Thrift the girl that answered was super nice and answered all my question without hesitation. She restored some hope in me that there are still nice people that work and are happy to do their job. To her I want to say THANK YOU for being kind to me and to the management team THANK YOU for creating an environment that workers are happy in because good customer is so hard to find these days! I will definitely be in this afternoon. Thank you so much again ?”

“I'm not gonna lie, when I first walked in I thought I was working behind the scenes seeing all the customers next to the giant bins of clothing and their own large clothes bins. Unfortunately for me, I was looking for more ceramics and unusual knick knacks and was greatly disappointed to see that only the left wall was for those items and very few were actually there.
If you're looking for clothes this Goodwill is great, but if you're looking for knick knacks, ceramics, or glassware this is not the place to be.”
“The store was clean- and we had to wait a few minutes for an employee to come to the cash register. I would recommend a bell at the register on slow days to alert the team that someone is ready to checkout”
“Mrs. Donna and the whole team of Habitat for Humanity was awesome, so kind, and generous to us. With the help of Habitat for Humanity we were able to furnish our first apartment. We are so grateful to the organization and donors who make it possible! I learned a valuable lesson of asking for help when needed. Also hope I can give back and volunteer and do the same for others.”

“Love this place. Must have changed management prices have gone up and shelves are sometimes bare. I miss the good Ole days. You have to know how to shop this place can be pricey. But also find really good deal. The makeup section is basically gone now as well as the area where they use to have all kinds of personal care goodies. Sometimes they ask more than of you buy it new. But still love it.”

If I could show everyone this place believe me I would because it’s definitely bursting with personality. The owners as well are so kind and lively people to talk to.
