Stopped in one night,she had her dog in there and it had pooped in floor and she was acting like it wasn't there. Smelled awful.. I waited in line for what seemed like forever because she didn't know how to stop talking . very unprofessional as she was talking about other coworkers . very glad she is gone now.. “This is the store I always stop at when I'm in the mood for a redbull, or I need cigarettes. The women that run the store are really friendly and always make you feel welcome. The store is laid out efficiently, and you can even pay your power bill here, too. I would recommend the market store to anyone.”
“Great local grocery store, and I am very lucky to have them near by. They often have great prices on quality meats and produce, and the store stays stocked with a large variety of name brand and generic products. Due to thier size, a lot of the name brand products are pricier than competitive stores, and they do not have as much variety, but they do have a friendly staff that is eager to help. The 4 stars is not to deter people from shopping there, but because there are areas to improve. I would give them 4.5 stars if I had the choice.”

“My local dollar general is in Hays so I rarely shop at the Dollar General in mulberry/Fairplains. I was very surprised & impressed at how different the quality & selection was. I went in for nail polish & needless to say after seeing the vast selection of colors in addition to the loads of different makeup selections fully stocked, I’ll be visiting this Dollar General more often!”

“We ordered lunch for our monthly company luncheon and it did not disappoint! We ordered cacoila and linguica finger sandwiches, a pan of pork alentejana and a pan of chicken Mozambique. Had to have bread to soak up the sauce too! We thought we may have ordered a bit too much but apparently not since most of the food was gone by the end of the day! We will definitely order again in the future. Excellent service and hospitality as well! A very kind employee rolled the cart of food out in the rain and helped me load the food into my car to make sure nothing would spill! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Stopped in to JB Mart today for a quick bite to eat. And I have to say the first think I loom at is the cleanliness of the kitchen and all the equipment. And I must say you could eat off the floor and no grease build up on none of the equipment. The food was great we had chicken wings, 8oz burger, and my daughter had pizza it was all great trust me I know good food. Great job”

“Standard Dollar General experience. They have been leaning heavily on their one self checkout register lately (I'm assuming due to lack of staff) this isn't so bad except that it's a very slow process especially when assistance is needed and the person can't be found. However, they have put a sign on the door stating this is what to expect, so I guess that makes it ok.Bathrooms are gross, as per dollar general standard. One is always broken (we assume that's the employee bathroom) Prices are better at Walmart of course, but for the time saved from having to drive to Walmart most things it balances out. Service is hit or miss. Some of the employees are super friendly and really try their best to meet expectations and others act like it's the end of the world that you've walked in. 7 days before Christmas and they were still trying to get the Christmas items out. They've been struggling with keeping staff, so I don't know if it's a management issue or what. Don't go in if you're in a hurry, but aside from that you'll get about what you'd expect from DG.”

“I love this little country store! Sadly these little places are becoming a thing of the past. Fortunately this place is close to my home and I'm in and outta there all the time. The owner is the nicest man and such a sweetheart. The prices are very reasonable and he always has the best fresh fruit and veggies to choose from. All around a great business!”
