“Beautifully renovated hotel! Shook hands with the owners upon arrival and they were so kind! We were a last minute booking with 3 very tired kids and the owners were able to check us in 4 hours ahead of our check in time so we could nap our smallest kiddo. The rooms were clean, cute and functional. Perfect for our family of 5. The hotel itself is centrally located in the village of Ocracoke and within walking distance of many different attractions. Would highly recommend you stay here when visiting!”

“Huge shout out to Jill. Clean and fresh and just the best. If you need a place to stay , this is the Gem! From the moment you arrive its screams Welcome. Cottage type rooms, clean bedding and super clean bathrooms that is loaded with towels. When you open the door and seem fresh, you know you hit the jackpot. My husband and I always try and stay here, but sometime she’s booked up. Book in advance friends.”

“The most lovely hospitality! Miss Betty, could not have been kinder or more helpful. The room was clean and well stocked. The furnishings are old and maybe not quite as comfortable as you might wish but that won't keep us away. Great views, nice people.”
“We spent 3 nights here and absolutely loved it! From the beginning we were greeted by Cynthia at the front desk, who was so accommodating and welcoming. She made sure we were happy with our room, which was adorable 😊.
The location is great also. Close to the village and to great restaurants and bars! We loved the fresh seafood 🍤 at Howard’s Pub!
Renting a golf cart for convenience is recommended. Great local shops off the beaten path is Ziggies! Great wine selection! Which is one of the places that Cynthia recommended for us.
The beaches are beautiful and clean. Local people are very friendly and welcoming!
This lodge is a great place to stay. Laid back with a nice pool. Highly recommend!

“Great getaway spot. Second floor and above has the better room. But they all are very cute and quaint. Breakfast includes. Good water pressure. Good pillows, good mattresses. Great night sleep.
Slight recommendation is routine AC clean with the amount of heat and humidity on island they get dirty fast and we could smell it in our room.
Will definitely return.”
