Although I was upset at the time, I was happy that someone reached to explain the error and went above and beyond to make things right. “I placed a very important order with a local florist for a funeral this past weekend. At the last minute, I was informed that the delivery driver had an emergency and could not deliver the pre-ordered and paid for bouquet. I scrambled immediately to reach another florist and thankfully, I did. Not only did Providence Florist accept my order, they fulfilled everything and personally delivered the bouquet to the church on time for the Catholic Mass that began just 15 minutes later. “I ordered the "designer's choice bouquet" for a friend who lives in the Charlotte area and just got home from the hospital. She texted me a picture a few hours later, and the bouquet was absolutely beautiful!! I was thrilled with how it turned out as well as how quickly it was delivered to her house. I have never had a good experience with sending flowers online. They either have not arrived or have looked very different from the picture on the website. I threw caution to the wind with picking the designer's choice and am so glad I left it up to these experts to make her such a special arrangement. Just perfect, all in all!”

“Had Bernardin's for lunch and it exceeded expectations. The restaurant was bustling, and seems to be every day at lunchtime. Service was quick and everything on the menu tasted great. I had the crab cakes. Combined with the fries and fresh vegetables, it was a filling option for lunch. This was a great quick sit down lunch and I will be returning.”

“The fella and I went on a Wednesday, which just happened to be Wine Wednesday, and got a bottle of Sterling Sauvignon Blanc for $15. (It was $5/glass, so it made sense to get the whole bottle.) We split the meatballs and a flatbread, which were both a little too sauce heavy and just okay. I wouldn't specifically come here for dinner, but it was nice to have a variety of food options. We sat at the bar (which had purse hooks!), and our service was outstanding. There's easy parking in the back lot, and you can come in through the back door.”

“I want to give a big S/O to Penny & Mark over at Fashion Flowers ,for creating a friendly and welcoming environment, Friday afternoon I was ripping and running around Charlotte to find a last minute Bouquet, usually you would have to place an order ahead of time , but things happened and I ended up needing to find a solution last minute, I was greeted at the door by Mark & Penny , friendly and helpful! explaining my situation, Mark goes to the back for a few minutes, but to me felt like a smooth 15-20 lol; Thinking he's about to come out like "no we don't have anything sir im sorry," instead he comes out with exactly what I needed, even wrapped the flowers all fancy. ,Penny checked me out with a smile!I really appreciate the both of you! WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF!!!!I’ll start my review by saying that my wedding was primarily decorated with flowers. They were TO DIE FOR BEAUTIFUL! ? I have done weddings for 15 years and was a florist myself. To say I was extremely picky about my flowers was a complete understatement! I designed weddings that entire time as well. You absolutely get what you pay for with this. And if done right, your florals will save you money on other decor and make your wedding MUCH nicer than if you primarily use rentals. Keep reading. When you’ve been doing weddings for that long, and you are in love with flowers, it can be nearly impossible to hand it over to someone else. BUT…that’s where Carrie M. Cassidy Struble, owner of The Flower Diva, comes in!!!!!I’ve watched Carrie and her team do weddings for all of these years. My theme and color palette were not your typical wedding. It was beautiful, lush, and romantic…yes. But not cookie cutter in any way.Carrie and her team worked their tails off designing with me for our special day. It was such an exciting process that even my groom was excited to see the finished product! I remember telling him “Look babe! A sneak peak!” And he said “No! This has been such an interesting experience for me I want to see the whole thing when it’s done so I can keep enjoying it!”.My groom is all “guy” and is a GC so for him to be even remotely excited about a flower, much less a whole wedding of them…well that was saying something! Lol.Carrie and her team went above and beyond to color match and blend my dreams to perfection. I was waiting to post a review until I had more professional pics back but maybe I’ll circle back and post more when I have them.I am a person who LOVES sunshine and wants to see the “happy” in life. I asked Carry to bring my high end taste into connection with “happy” and romance. From the moment you entered our wedding, every speck of the florals was on point. Perfection! All of our guests gasped at the beauty and raved about how magical it looked!All of these years watching Carrie I knew that she takes the every day and makes it extraordinary!Also, because I’ve done weddings for so long I had several Charlotte wedding vendors as friends and even some in the wedding. They see hundreds of weddings a year and were still “blown away” by how beautiful our wedding was!I cannot recommend The Flower Diva enough! If you need anything…one perfect stem…or the best “wow factor” you can find…FLOWER DIVA is your company!I was able to completely trust them with my day.We are currently having some preserved and some pressed.Happy…life…romance…luxury…unique.
