“Park Rd Shopping Center is a gem in CLT's historic retail locations. There's a large selection of boutique stores, and specialty shops, favoring mid-up market, the most notable in my opinion is Black Hawk Hardware. This establishment has everything from home decor, repair & improvement, to high quality and great selection of lawn care as well as garden supplies including fountains, statues, lattice, stones, etc... The works! Family & Pet friendly it's a destination unto itself, with a toy section for the discerning parent(s) who lean towards quality educational toys, with kitchy stuff mix in sparing. Also their walk-up key shop is fast and friendly, offering novel products for everyday, traveling, electronics, etc... I highly recommend visiting Park Rd Shopping Center, planning to enjoy a good meal from the various restaurants ( most w/ Cafe seating) Premium Outdoor outfitters across the parking lot next to the Cinema, Art & Hobby store anchors the end of the crescent shaped Shopping Center, and don't miss Amelia's next to an Antique store accessible from BlackHawk garden section, after shopping you can stop by the Harris Teeter grocery store which is premier for CLT. “Stores are clean orderly with friendly helpful staff. There is an exceptional patisserie in this location. It is "high style" or not your usual casual coffee shop. It is elegant with an exceptional staff. This is definitely a "must go" particularly for those with discriminating tastes. There are gluten free selections available daily. Lastly, the atmosphere is very pleasant and the facility is impeccably well kept and immaculate. This is not a place to hang out with your children. It is meant for adults. Nevertheless one can take out. However, you will regret foregoing the experience of dining in.”

“If you want an authentic kosher Pastrami sandwich come to Katz's Deli it's like a taste of home from your favorite restaurant..I always think about taking the picture but that's after I finished my sandwich.. I say oh man I should have taken a picture this was a ? looking sandwich & it tastes great too. I have to have a bite of ? with every bite of ?So stop by if you're in the neighborhood roast beef is there too. You won't be disappointed”

“Attended a birthday celebration there, very nice, tablecloths on the tables give it a luxury formal feel. Food was excellent, lentil soup, tomato salad, eggplant, bear salad, and food choices did not disappoint. Highly recommend!”
“People had related to me that this shopping/entertainment area had opened just before the COVID lockdowns went into effect. There are a couple of open and available storefronts, but the businesses that are open had good attendance. It is a very attractive and inviting area (architecture/landscaping/natural scenary) with expansive views of the river, walking and bicycle paths, and park areas. While there, a large group of people who had just floated down the Catawba river on inner tubes were coming back to thier vehicles. This is definately a location I will visit again soon.”
“Providence Commons has a grocery store, two banks, a salon, Great Clips, a UPS store, Tide cleaners, an Italian restaurant, and Showmars. The parking lot is easy to get into with plenty of parking. The Harris Teeter that is there doesn't have a hot bar or pizza station, but Showmars and the Italian restaurant make up for it. There is also a Lowe's so you can get all your home repair items.”
“I shop this store because they carry meats that other grocery stores do not and it’s pocket friendly! Oxtail, smoked neck bones and so many more varieties. I am also a true blue bread pudding fan which they sell in huge portions that is nothing but the truth and VERY affordable!”

“It's simply my favorite place. Upon moving to NC from Orlando, this was my store. I travel back to Charlotte a few times a month and it just feels like home. Great produce, great meats alongside of a great clean shopping experience. It's pretty dope that they have a craft beer bar on the weekends, I miss living in the neighborhood. I currently drive from Chester, SC to pick up a few things that myself and my lady need which only they provide”

“I visit the outlet mall very often to buy shoes and clothes! Really good quality shoes and clothes! Very good for being outdoor and shopping at the same time! You can tell when a place is really busy that is really good! I find this location in particular very attractive: it is close to a freeway, close to the airport, and even close to a top golf place! I enjoy going here either quick shopping or take my time to find the shoes or clothes that I want!”

“What a creative way to eat in Charlotte. This was an incredible find. This is an interesting selection of restaurants and bars. From burgers to pizza, to Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Italian, and other ethnic restaurants. There are coffee shops, ice cream locations, something for everyone. The street outside the alley has more selections. Very impressive.”
