I swear to God, I’d rather fix things myself because other places either didn’t know how to do the job or were simply “guessing” what the issue was. But Naim and the other man are absolutely the best! They are always professional, quick to respond, and make sure the job is done right the first time. It’s honestly refreshing to have a maintenance team that truly cares and knows what they’re doing.”

“I just wanted to come on here and should out Bob, the lead of the matinence department here at Inman Park. We have been here over a year and I realized I’ve never really shown enough appreciation for how hard he works and quickly he arrives when there is any issue. Our door wasn’t opening due to wood expansion from the humidity. He arrived promptly in the pouring rain and the door is fixed like new. Truly an asset to the Inman park team. Thank you!”

“Moved here from Indiana and wanted to share my experience since good and detailed apartment reviews can be hard to find.
I had a great experience living here. The location is very walkable to shops and restaurants, and the staff has always been friendly. I lived in a studio, and the layout with the partial wall made it feel more like a one-bedroom, which I really liked. Only leaving because I need more space with my fiance moving down.
A few downsides: the package system is inconsistent, with deliveries sometimes left in the conference room out in the open, and the gym is very small and gets crowded quickly. There’s also no close access to greenways—you’ll need to go about a mile to reach the nearest trail. Prices are a bit high but everywhere in North Hills is like that.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place if you want to live in a busy, walkable area in the heart of North Hills.”

“I had such a great experience working with Tyrus at The Dartmouth Apartments. He truly went above and beyond to help me get into my apartment and made the entire process so much less stressful. He stayed late just to make sure I was able to get my keys and settled in, which meant so much to me.
It’s rare to find someone who is that patient, professional, responsive, and genuinely willing to help. You can tell he really cares about the residents and takes pride in what he does. I’m extremely grateful for all of his help and highly recommend asking for Tyrus if you’re looking at The Dartmouth!”
“Elsa was an amazing tour guide, we fell in love with everything we saw so we applied almost immediately. Elsa helped us through every step of the process, was available by email any time we had an issue, and has been a welcoming friendly face at the entrance while coming in and out of the building. It was a lovely experience, both seeing the building and amenities, as well as with the management. Monica is the other desk agent who is equally as wonderful, she’s been incredibly helpful and offered her help to us anytime we’ve needed it. It’s a perfect little community.”
“Great location. Great units. Appliances are modern. Maintenance staff takes care of issues next or same (business) day—shout out to Jay and Frans.
Walls between roommates are thick. Living room walls are thinner.
Nearby construction can be loud, but I believe that is subsiding. During certain times of the year, there are blowers around 7:00 AM and it can get very loud; this is for units facing the outside (not the pool).
This year, the building has ants in the walls.
Dishwasher filters are not cleaned on move-in, make sure to clean them yourself or submit a maintenance request.
No wild move-out charges; we kept out space clean. The only charges I had were for the stove's drip trays and shower tub cleaning: ~$40.”
“The leasing agent Ariel Maxwell and assistant manager Jeezy Torres are incredible! They are always curious and provide prompt helpful solutions to any issues we have presented to them! We have nothing but gratitude and praise for them both individually and as we've witnessed them working as a team to get to the bottom of whatever the situation or questions may be! We are happy to have them working at. Aston and feel confident in their dedication to serve us to their utmost ability!”
“Jillian was very helpful, even though she had another appointment coming in. She helped me until the last minute then asked Steven to finish providing me what I needed!
The apartments are solid with plenty of common gathering spaces and facilities. I recommend checking them out if youre looking for a place.”
“I lived at Sojourn for 5 years starting in 2020 and cannot recommend it enough. The leasing office has always been incredibly helpful, and puts a lot of work into resident events and getting to know their tenants. The amenities like the gym and pool are modern and nice, and it’s generally just a friendly community in my experience.”

“Remember the old saying don't judge a book by its cover. Well that applies right here. No bugs , no riff raff . Its a nice place that's willing to give you a chance if you need one. This place is great! Don't be fooled by the bad reviews. And BTW nobody gave me anything or asked me to leave this. Js come see for yourself.”
“Bree and Aaron are fantastic, and maintenance is also fantastic. The apartments are nice, I have not experienced any of the aforementioned issues that others have (smoking, bugs, etc.) maybe I got lucky, but I have lived in two different units here and have never had those issues. The noise is natural, you live in an apartment… there will be noise. If the noise is crazy bad then just call security and let them handle it. You are close to everything, but also tucked away enough to where you don’t get all of the Raleigh noise. The only downside is the fire alarms, but even those don’t go off nearly as much as people say they do.”
“My husband and I recently toured this apartment community at North Hills, and we were so impressed — not only with the property itself but especially with Kristina from the leasing office. From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional. She took the time to answer all of our questions, gave us a detailed tour, and really made us feel at home.
Kristina’s kindness and genuine enthusiasm made our decision so much easier. It’s rare to meet someone who truly loves what they do and cares about helping people find the right home — but that’s exactly who she is. Because of her, we felt confident and excited to choose this community.

“I don’t care what anyone says—Remington Place is the BEST apartment in Raleigh. I’ve lived here since 2021, and I have no intention of living anywhere else.
The cost per square foot is the most affordable in the area, especially considering everything you get. It’s the only apartment I found that offers both a gas stove and a real wood-burning fireplace—huge wins in my book.
The maintenance team is incredibly responsive. When my AC went out, it was fixed immediately. And when welding work caused some dust in my apartment, the property hired an outside cleaning company to take care of it. I was blown away. They cleaned meticulously—even steamed my couch. That level of attention is rare.
Also want to shout out Phillip Marshall, the new property manager. He’s professional, fair, and quick to respond. You can tell he genuinely cares. What I appreciate most is that they treat this not just as an apartment complex—but as our home.

“Very helpful and accommodating. So far so good! Maintenance and the people that work at the office are nice and helpful. There is a lot of garbage around my unit, though, and nobody cares to pick up. Detrimental for this complex! Besides the fact that will attract bugs!”
