“I’ve been living at NC for over 4 years and have never had such an efficient maintenance team like the one in this apartment complex. I swear to God, I’d rather fix things myself because other places either didn’t know how to do the job or were simply “guessing” what the issue was. But Naim and the other man are absolutely the best! They are always professional, quick to respond, and make sure the job is done right the first time. It’s honestly refreshing to have a maintenance team that truly cares and knows what they’re doing.”

“I was gone for several weeks and when I had returned, my smart lock had died and I was unable to access my apartment. I had to go to the leasing office right before they closed. I was expecting them to be upset because of the time, but to my surprise I was met with kindness. Jean said he’d take care of it and quickly drove over to change the battery without any issues. “I just wanted to come on here and should out Bob, the lead of the matinence department here at Inman Park. We have been here over a year and I realized I’ve never really shown enough appreciation for how hard he works and quickly he arrives when there is any issue. Our door wasn’t opening due to wood expansion from the humidity. He arrived promptly in the pouring rain and the door is fixed like new. Truly an asset to the Inman park team. Thank you!”

“Moved here from Indiana and wanted to share my experience since good and detailed apartment reviews can be hard to find.

I had a great experience living here. The location is very walkable to shops and restaurants, and the staff has always been friendly. I lived in a studio, and the layout with the partial wall made it feel more like a one-bedroom, which I really liked. Only leaving because I need more space with my fiance moving down.

A few downsides: the package system is inconsistent, with deliveries sometimes left in the conference room out in the open, and the gym is very small and gets crowded quickly. There’s also no close access to greenways—you’ll need to go about a mile to reach the nearest trail. Prices are a bit high but everywhere in North Hills is like that.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place if you want to live in a busy, walkable area in the heart of North Hills.”

“I’ve lived at the Lake Johnson Mews for about two years now. The front desk and maintenance staff are the best I’ve ever experienced (and I’ve lived in a few apartments in Raleigh). There are quick access to the trails, a tennis court and a pool that is quiet and well maintained. Maintenance issues are resolved quickly and Jason always answers emails and phone calls. I have two dogs and they love the dog park. It’s a great community for friendly dogs who like to play. We even came together and rescued a puppy who was abandoned there and found it a home. I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for comfy and quiet living.”

“I had such a great experience working with Tyrus at The Dartmouth Apartments. He truly went above and beyond to help me get into my apartment and made the entire process so much less stressful. He stayed late just to make sure I was able to get my keys and settled in, which meant so much to me.

It’s rare to find someone who is that patient, professional, responsive, and genuinely willing to help. You can tell he really cares about the residents and takes pride in what he does. I’m extremely grateful for all of his help and highly recommend asking for Tyrus if you’re looking at The Dartmouth!”

“Elsa was an amazing tour guide, we fell in love with everything we saw so we applied almost immediately. Elsa helped us through every step of the process, was available by email any time we had an issue, and has been a welcoming friendly face at the entrance while coming in and out of the building. It was a lovely experience, both seeing the building and amenities, as well as with the management. Monica is the other desk agent who is equally as wonderful, she’s been incredibly helpful and offered her help to us anytime we’ve needed it. It’s a perfect little community.”

“Great location. Great units. Appliances are modern. Maintenance staff takes care of issues next or same (business) day—shout out to Jay and Frans.

Walls between roommates are thick. Living room walls are thinner.

Nearby construction can be loud, but I believe that is subsiding. During certain times of the year, there are blowers around 7:00 AM and it can get very loud; this is for units facing the outside (not the pool).

This year, the building has ants in the walls.

Dishwasher filters are not cleaned on move-in, make sure to clean them yourself or submit a maintenance request.

No wild move-out charges; we kept out space clean. The only charges I had were for the stove's drip trays and shower tub cleaning: ~$40.”

The leasing office has always been incredibly helpful, and puts a lot of work into resident events and getting to know their tenants. The amenities like the gym and pool are modern and nice, and it’s generally just a friendly community in my experience.”

“My partner and I lived at Marshall Apartments for two years, and honestly, if work hadn’t taken us to another state, we never would have left.

We especially want to thank Bree in the leasing office. She is truly one of the nicest people we’ve ever had as a leasing consultant. She was always kind, patient, and willing to help, no matter what we needed. We’d often see her at the community events, and she always took the time to say hello and make sure everyone was doing well. You can tell she genuinely cares about the residents. If you’re thinking about moving here, ask for Bree, you’ll be in great hands!

It’s funny how you don’t realize how much you’ll miss a place until you leave. We already miss the walking trails, the amenities, and even the parking garage. Those little things really made everyday life easier.

“I looked high and low while searching for a new apartment community in Raleigh — newer complexes, more luxurious complexes, you name it — but I always kept coming back to Remington Place for several reasons: value, square footage, location, and overall atmosphere.

Is it the newest ultra-luxury community in the Triangle? No. But what I do have here are all the creature comforts I could ever want. My unit is partially updated, filled with natural light from tons of windows, and tucked away in the peaceful Lake Johnson woods where I can truly de-stress and reconnect with nature after work. On top of that, having gas appliances, a wood-burning fireplace, and access to Google Fiber makes this place feel like home.

One thing that has really stood out to me after living here for a month is how quiet and safe the community feels, especially compared to some neighboring complexes I toured before making my decision. I work remotely, so having peace and quiet matters a lot, and Remington Place has absolutely delivered there.

To say I’m happy here would be an understatement. I can genuinely see myself staying here for a few years until I’m ready to buy a home.

Phil and the entire property management team have done an excellent job turning the community around compared to some older reviews I had read before moving in. They’ve been responsive, professional, and genuinely seem to care. Huge shoutout as well to the maintenance team — they’ve been awesome. Every maintenance request I’ve submitted has been resolved either the same day or the next day, and the work has been done quickly and professionally. My apartment was also practically spotless at move-in, which made a great first impression.

So far, so good. I’d absolutely recommend Remington Place — just keep it on the low so it can remain Raleigh’s best kept secret.”
