Cheshire Cat Antique Gallery is Raleigh's oldest antique mall, a huge store with 20,000 square feet of shopping pleasure. It features a very large selection of many lovely items including collectibles, furniture, mid century modern pieces, lighting, vintage clothing, fine and costume jewelry, primitives, Asian items, glassware, art, and a lot more. The space is filled with lots of fun trinkets, classic decor pieces, and vintage gifts across many mini booths, creating a generally fun atmosphere. It is always an absolute pleasure visiting this lovely speakeasy-style thrift store. The business also provides an appraisal service. While some prices are a bit high and the place can get a little muggy or have a strange smell, there is definitely something for everyone. Visitors are required to check purses and backpacks at the counter. The staff is great.
This shop is one of the gems of the city. It is down in a dungeonlike space below the block of normal shops at the street level, it stretches forever and you sort of get sensory overload after walking past dozens and dozens of little stalls jam packed with assorted oddities and antiques.

Giant multi vendor store full of treasures. It 100% has mildew in the basement section, which is hard to avoid with backrooms full of old textiles. I've been a dozen times and get lightheaded. Brought a friend along and she also got lightheaded. Could really use some industrial air purifiers in the back right.
