Harris Teeter is known for its fresh, high-quality meats, seafood, and produce, making it a great place for shopping and entertaining with deli, baked goods, and chef-prepared meals in the Fresh Foods Market. The store layout spans two floors, which can make shopping a bit challenging, especially for those with carts, as they need to use the elevator. The store is generally clean, but the setup can cause some inconvenience. Customers appreciate the wide selection and the store’s convenient location. However, there have been some issues, such as limited drink options for diabetics, with cooler temperatures not working well, and concerns about teenagers riding carts around the store without supervision. Despite these minor problems, Harris Teeter remains a popular grocery store that many enjoy for its quality and variety, although some miss features like the old tossed salad bar.
As soon as you realize how the groceries & dry goods are laid out across the two floors, it's like the other stores in the area. I got in & out quick for a lunch-time one-item trip.

The one complaint I have is I'm diabetic and they only had diet Pepsi and coke zero to choose from and the cooler they were in was not working good so they were hot. So therefore I wasn't able to get me a drink to go with the food we had gotten from the deli section.

Clean store but the set up makes shopping a bit difficult. Half the store is on the second floor and you have to take an elevator if you have a cart. Other than the minor inconvenience of that, a good grocery store.
