“We did the advanced wine tasting class—it was fantastic. The wines were excellent and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We followed the class with a blind tasting at the bar. It was a lot of fun—highly recommend.”

“Lived next to Roshambo for a couple years, and now that I don’t, I really miss it. They always have a great selection of beer to grab & go, in addition to a good selection on tap. Great place for hanging with a few friends when you don’t want to do something in downtown proper or when you just want to grab something to drink at home. Some days they’ll even host food trucks or burger tents, but they’re also within walking distance of other food options if you’re wanting a meal and a drink.”

“Located off Davis Cir and Glenwood Ave.I posted the sign with days and hours. Apparently these ABC stores are state run or have some kind of regulations so their prices are better than other liquor stores. I thought online I saw that they have wine and beer but in the store I only saw liquor and mixers. They have a huge bourbon selection. The people weee friendly here.”

“Stopped by Seaboard Wine on a Thursday and was really impressed with how polite, helpful, and knowledgeable the staff was. The selection is well curated and easy to navigate without feeling overwhelming. To top it off, their Thursday wine special was amazing, an absolute bargain! Highly recommend stopping by!”
“Large North Raleigh ABC store with a pretty good selection of higher end Bourbans and Ryes (at least as good as a state run store can have). To get the more rare items you need to track the Wake County ABC Facebook page, and then wait in line to try to be one of the 1st few they let into the store.
I'm not a big vodka or gin drinker, but those areas look well stocked too. Also has a nice selection of spiced rums (see pic of a fun spiced rum I got for someone as a stocking stuffer).
The store is clean and has a large parking lot. A bit of a drive for me, but worth it if I'm looking for something special.”
“I think corporate has sent a memo to cut cashiers. There used to be 2-3 available all the time. Now we are funneled to the self checkout which I won't use. Please re-institute proper staffing for checkout.”

“I visited the Norths Hills Store back in April 2024. I tried the Radelager Pilsener German Beer from the Saxony Region. It was spot on. It's on a par with Warsteiner, Veltins and Krombacher. I'm from England and I've never seen it in any supermarkets back home. Well recommended ?”

“LOVE Peace Street Market. Chris is amazing, and always helpful and friendly. They have a great selection of just about anything you may need on the fly, and their prices are great too. This place is a lovely gem downtown if you’re looking for a quick place to grab snacks, drinks, etc. It’s just an added bonus that Chris makes it a point to recognize you and make you feel like a “neighborhood insider” every time you pop in.
