“This is an "ok" grocery store. We came this past weekend and will most likely not return. They do sell great novelty items and a lot of meatless/plant-based options. The store is a lot smaller than we expected when walking in. Several workers were restocking some shelves but there were a lot of empty spaces in produce. Some items were harder to find given the store's layout. We also were surprised to find out their bags cost .10c each. We had a light load so we opted for no bags but that was a shock to hear. We also had a few coupons to use which were scanned and used with ease. To me, this is a specialty store and I wouldn't be able to shop for all I need at this location. Given the options and prices, we have other stores that suit our needs better.”

“I've been in several Wegmans Grocery Stores in various locations and when I say that "if you've been in one, you've been to them all" that's not a negative comment, at least I don't mean it in that sense.These stores are all well managed and the staff is well trained. Wegmans sets the bar very high and they demand excellence from all of their employees.As a customer, I've come to expect a certain level of excellence and I'm consistently impressed. Sure, you might pay a little more but you definitely know where that extra money went. You will get top quality produce, meats, dairy, seafood, you name it, everything is just better at Wegmans.”

“Trader Joe’s is a great store to shop in without all the “brand named” commercialized products offered at very reasonable prices. They have a variety of foods, flowers, and seasonal items. The staff are friendly and helpful. Even though the store looks busy and all, they move you through the lines quickly. I’ve started shopping their stores in California .. then Colorado .. Florida and now in this great state of North Carolina. Only downside of I can say about Trader Joe’s is that there aren’t enough of them throughout the Raleigh metro areas. :-)”

“Generally I’ve never had problems with TFM. I order online and pick my groceries up curbside. The past time I did this, I went to go eat my strawberries and there were worms in them. I recommend going shopping in person to ensure the quality of your produce.”

“Food Lion is our primary place to but food. I'm always impressed by their campaigns to keep the customers happy. They play some really cool music ? while you go up and down the isles. Why, I even broke out in a dance just reaching for some canned peaches. Hope you didn't see me doing the electric slide in the bread isle. Seems whoever put on the music for the day had that funky music ? Rocklin in their mind. So, if you want to get down while shopping, finding all your favorite goodies. Go to your food Loins and prepare to Rock your way around the milk, fresh bread, and fresh meat counters. Say, don't forget to grab a magazine before checking out. ? “I love Aldi! I have a family of 7 and the value and savings on groceries compared to other grocery stores is amazing. Produce and meats are always fresh and the cheese selection is great as well. If you’re looking for value, you can certainly find it here. Also, the stores are clean and I love that you have to put a quarter in the cart and actually return it to you your quarter back.”

“I love shopping at Harris Teeter. I was there today not once but 3 times. First time I went I we got something from the deli. Second time was I needed little neck clam. I called and they only had 3 bags left of 50. The guy was so nice and left a bag on side for me. The third time I went back for more fish. Got it! Love my Teeter!”

“Almadina was the first Mediterranean grocery store in the Raleigh area . They have such a great variety of foods that you get a taste of whatever you would like. The people there are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the stuff that they have in the store. Oh and they have so many different types of spices in the store fresh seasonal fruit. Definitely worth wild to go take a peek at.”

“It’s a neat little Mexican store that has a butcher shop and a variety of different things including a place for you to send money via Western Union or Moneygram, I can’t remember which but there the parking is horrible! The little store is situated in a very small & condensed, heavily trafficked/crowded, plaza right off of the very busy New Bern Avenue. I love the fact that it has a Mexican bakery right next to it which has delicious and amazing desserts and pastries!”

“This is the Food Lion I normally go to since it's close to home. Sometimes, their shelves aren't thoroughly stocked, but they are pretty busy.I've been trying to use the self checkout because every time I go through a cashier's line, it smells absolutely awful. This is happening more and more, and I'm not sure if hygiene is a must for this job, but the smell of body odor is extremely strong on certain aisles. The last time I came in the store and the cashier was bagging my groceries, every time he would raise his arms, it was like a huge wift of body odor was pouring out. And this is happening more and more at this certain location. The cashiers are always polite and courteous, but I wish personal hygiene could be implemented a little more for the sake of the customers.”
