βI made the mistake of going to Pep Boys (4908 NC-55, Durham, NC), after the serpentine belt broke on my SUV near them. They quoted me double the fair price to fix it.
I called Automan - Perry answered. I'd never met him. He quoted me an honest and fair price, and told me to just get the vehicle to him and he would take care of it.
Perfect Service, Honest Price, Timely Same Day Repair, and Followed Up after. This place is the real deal.

βJoe who owns USA Auto is a hard working, honest man who pays attention to details. We only trust USA Auto with our car. Everyone there is friendly and patient with us when my husband and I freak out about something that we did to our car. They listen and display empathy and get our car fixed in a professional timely manner.β
βThese guys were happy to fill my tires with air first thing in the morning and they were kind while doing so! They also have a deal going on for an oil change/ wiper blades/ etc that seems like a good bang for your buck, so Iβll have to stop in and take them up on that!β
βWriting this review because I think it's important to recognize when you come across a business that is honest & high-integrity. I recently brought a car to Tommy and his team because it wouldn't start. They worked on it for nearly a week, trying various things including replacing the throttle body, and (eventually) realized the issue was very simple-- it was the key. We tried my spare key and it started right up. (Apparently a malfunctioning transponder in the key can prevent the car from starting, but the expected security light on the dashboard wasn't coming on.) Now here's the surprising part -- Tommy waived the vast majority of the charges, so my cost was a fraction of what it might have been. (He even offered to waive 100% of charges if I wanted him to.) I was shocked, and really thankful. I will definitely use and recommend this shop in the future.β

βI have been looking for an honest mechanic for YEARS in Raleigh and the surrounding area. I live in Clayton and work in WF but it was well worth the trip to bring my car to Pipers for a new clutch. They provided an honest estimate, updates when I needed them, showed me my worn parts, and my car is driving like brand new. Highly recommend this local business!!β

βNeeded an inspection didn't require an appointment. I called ahead and the employee told me to come whenever. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I wasn't pressured to buy anything else or upsold. Pretty good experience. Definitely would go back.β

βLove these guys. Theyβve always done a great job changing oil (and all the other junk that goes along with it) and yearly inspections. But what Iβve loved the most is the honesty and tips theyβve given me.
One tech told me that if I just needed a straight oil change that the dealership would be cheaper since theyβre buying the kind I need in bulk, but their filters are less expensive so a total change would be approximately the same. I checked the next time I went to the dealership for service, and lo and behold the tech was right. I greatly appreciated that.
And recently a tech told me about a kiosk at a specific Harris teeter where you could immediately print off your new registration after an inspection for a little extra money. I never would have known otherwise.
So yeah, I like these guys and will continue to go when my car needs basic service.β

βI have taken my vehicles here for many years and follow their recommendations for maintenance. I sell my vehicles at 200k+ miles for cosmetic reasons, but mechanically - I really have not had trouble with them. I think the reason is Bayleaf has done a good job taking care of my vehicles.
Except once during covid when getting parts were an issue, appointments have always gone very smoothly. Overall I recommend them highly.β
