“There only one older lady who’d been working there by herself for 3 days so far and yet was still super sweet! I think people are way too hard and impatient on the few people who work there.
It's not an easy job. When I tried applying there to help out USPS wasn't hiring.”
“The folks who work here are experienced and knowledgeable. A real old neighborhood spot. Note that It is a small office with minimum staff and can get busy with long lines- so check internet and don’t go during busy times.”
“This is by far my favorite post office in raleigh. Mailing things is hard. Not only is this post office one of the only ones in raleigh open until 5, it is also the only one with Tonia. Tonia makes you feel like even though mailing things is hard, she is here with you and will make it easier. Instead of feeling rushed, dumb, frustrated, and like I’m making mistakes like I do at most post offices and mailing places, I feel seen and valued. Truly phenomenal. And beyond being helpful, she always asks me how my day is no matter how busy she is. She always makes my day better and makes a usually stressful task doable. Thank you Tonia!!!”

“This morning, when I was determining which USPS office I wanted to go, to I looked up the various ratings of those on ky way to work, I was already having a challenging day and did not want to deal with the attitude I sometimes encounter folks behind the counter. This post office had the highest rating so I selected it, and I was pleased. In fact I left in a better mood than I arrived in. The woman behind the counter was friendly, courteous, and helpful. I appreciate that.”
“Synopsis - If you treat people well, it typically comes back to you. This post office is like most services that are overworked and understaffed.
I've been to the Falls location post office quite a few times over the last couple of years to send packages and mail from. The ladies have always done right by me and although they are tired and overworked, when greeted well and shown respect, I have never had a negative experience. Even with how long the lines can be in the afternoon, they've provided me top quality service each time.
Most recently I went to the office to get stamps to mail out save the dates and the only woman working the desk happily helped me choose the best stamps for the occasion, figure out international stampage, and took them all for me back at the desk when I was done.
I understand the complaints of patrons in the reviews, but the several times I've been, I never had anything worse than a long wait line. I made sure every time to show respect and kindness to the folks working and was always matched in return.

“I wish I’d gotten the name of the kind lady at the counter who helped me, but I had a package show delivered that wasn’t and the customer service phone number hadn’t helped after 4 days of calling and talking to multiple people. The counter lady tracked down my mail carrier and had my package on my doorstep an hour later! She’s my hero!!”
“I would like to leave a review for such an excellent service provided by you guys. Not only were my packages delivered to my doorstep due to lack of space in mailbox but they also made sure they were placed in a safe location.
This is one of the best usps customer experience I’ve ever had.
Wow! I just saw the mailman also left a candy cane on top of package, along with a doggy treat for Braxton heckler(my 1 year old chihuahua)
I don’t why that lady was complaining about the service. She must have been having a rough day. Some people think they are entitled and deserve a silver spoon.
I pray for her and that she may know that love and gratitude towards these hard workers are what they need. If it helps I can donate the candy cane and a bigger kitty litter mailbox .
