Plantation Pantry in Rockingham, North Carolina, is one of my favorite convenience stores in Richmond County! The store is always **clean, organized, and welcoming**, and the food is consistently **fresh, hot, and delicious**. They serve **Hunt Brothers Pizza**, **Krispy Krunchy Chicken**, pizza sticks, and now even **breakfast burritos**. If you like your hot dogs cooked all the way (a little burnt like we do in the South!), theyβve got those too.
What really sets them apart is the **unique selection** β they carry **cakes and snacks you canβt find anywhere else**, including **Super Donuts** and **Crumbs brand treats**. You can grab a hot meal, dessert, and even a bottle of **wine or beer** all in one stop.
Theyβre **right beside a laundromat**, which is super convenient, and the Pantry even sells **laundry detergent and supplies** in case you forget something while washing clothes next door. They also have a small customer restroom β nothing fancy, but clean and handy if you need it.
My only small suggestion would be to include **slaw** on their βall-the-wayβ hot dogs β here in the South, we love slaw, chili, mustard, onions, and ketchup! But everything else Iβve ordered has been perfect.
Their **Krispy Krunchy Chicken tenders are huge and juicy**, and while the price might look high at first glance, itβs totally worth it for the portion size and flavor. And hereβs a cool tip: you can buy **frozen Hunt Brothers pizzas** for around **$13 each**, and they even accept **EBT** for those purchases!
Overall, **Plantation Pantry is a hidden gem in Rockingham** β great food, friendly staff, spotless store, and convenient location. Whether youβre local or just passing through **Roberedale or Richmond County**, this is one convenience store worth stopping at!β

βThe Corner Cupboard No. 10 was a convenient place to get gasoline. I liked that I could pay at the pump, and the prices were a lot lower than at the other station.
It was easy to pull in to select a pump, then easy to get back on the road.β

βMy favorite in the am on my way to work for gas, drinks and whatever I may need. Their customer service is exemplary! Kind people that make ones day better with a spoken word!β
βThis stores the best in Richmond county. Great customer service. They are always willing to help answer my questions. The pizza and wings are always fresh. The kitchen is always clean. Sanitation rating 100.0 . I've watched the lady's working there cleaning and sanitizing ever few hours since covid started. I've never had a complaint with this store!β

βThank you Lisa for those returns. I was very allergic to them so I brought back the ones not open or used. I was shocked as she said right fast that yes, I cloud return them. It was several sanitizers but it did not add up too much but I sure was glad to get them out of my way. Again, thanks so much. I know some stores want the receipt but all I can show is all my statements with the total amount showing Walgreens was the merchant. ????β

βNice, clean store. Customer service is great! This store really needs food for travelers as it's the only store on this stretch of highway. Passing through with children would be nice to see food options like on the go breakfast or lunch or even pizza. All in all awesome store and welcoming to travelers!β

βGood place to stop for gas, to grab snacks & use restrooms...clean & stocked. If anyone knows about "The Whole Shabang" potato chips...they are here & they are very tasty :)) I brought 6 bags!!!β
βTeresa, Teresa, TERESA!!! She is the epitome of customer service, and it honestly brightens my day just to see her when I walk into the store. I know without a doubt that if I need anything, Teresa is the person I want to ask. She is warm, kind, and always so helpfulβIβm actually a little sad when sheβs not there! Teresa truly understands the βhuman factorβ that makes customer service great, simply by being herself. I appreciate her so much, and Iβm sure other customers do as well!β
βIs a good pharmacy overall to get prescriptions at. And a really nice peaceful place. Most of the workers especially the few long time ones there. do their job really good. Now pharmacy take a half hour off for all of their workers to go at the same time.β

βOwners are wonderful people may not be a good area at night time but in the daytime it's pretty good decent the store is hardly ever out of what you need and they have a counter top that's blast that has very good products in it I would recommend this place if you're in the area the staff is very friendly just watch out for the people standing outsideβ
