“Great store..not Lifeway by any means but very nice just the same..very friendly people here..good selection of bibles n other books..was looking a good Bible study and didn't see anything of interest however the lady working here went online and found several that did seem what my wife and I were looking for..so she order 4 or 5 different ones and told us we could select the one we wanted when they arrived..vert helpful..would highly recommend this store..”

Though it's true they've had to change a few things over the years to try and "keep up with the times", this is still one of favorite "must visit" places whenever I happen to be nearby. The staff is always extremely friendly and never fails to assist me should I ask! Thank you all.”
“I love Pequod Used Books. Once you get away from Raleigh, there aren't a whole lot of used book stores around. I always enjoy visiting this little gem in Rocky Mount. It's inside the Small Shops Mall, a multi-vendor business.Pequod's space has expanded quite a bit over the past 5 or so years I've been visiting. I always find neat books there. The finely bound leather volumes catch my eye every time, and I've bought several. Vintage children's books have also made their way into my cart and home. Lovers of both local, US, and world history have a nice selection to peruse.If you're in the area (or just somewhere somewhat nearby), I recommend stopping by. It's always a good time to get lost in rows of books.”
