“It is always good to visit this store....the staff that was working today, 4/13/24 between 12 & 2pm ( 3 young ladies in the front end of the store & 1 young male stock clerk)..were extremely kind, professional and helpful to me. I'm sorry I didn't get their names.. but I want the store managers to know that they should be not only proud of these employees but give them a commendation in their personnel files along with a raise to recognize their hard work anything less would be a poor reflection on not just the store manager but the store owner as well. I look forward to seeing a response to this review in the near future”

“I went Food Lion by Wesleyan an employee Vanessa she is such a sweetheart. Apollo decided he wanted to be an acrobat today! First he put one leg between the handle of the cart then he stretched himself to the register with his feet barely in the cart, this woman just rocked him back and forth then held him while I paid. Mind you he does this every time we go shopping and Vanessa and a few others there always make my experience easier this just warmed my heart today a complete stranger (probably a grandma) to step in ❤️”

I used to work for this company for 11 years and know atleast that part. The store was tidy and the employees were polite. As for my personal service with my transaction... perfect and friendly she was. She told me her name and I only asked because I admired her genuine personality. “Better selection of alternative choices in the area, water, organic, gluten free and less ingredient packaged snacks. Parking lot usually busy with the setting being in a shopping/ eating strip. To avoid traffic you can park on side of building. There are spaces for veterans and family with small children.”

“We were visiting the area and visited thr Farmers Market on the right day! Today is Watermelon Day! One ice cream booth was handing out FREE watermelon ice cream. It was delicious! There's sooo much great produce and homemade products here. You need to stop by when you can. It's worth it!”

“Old school meets new school and everything in between! This is possibly one of the best and most unique grocery stores I have stepped foot in. When I saw the reviews online while looking for a restaurant and then when I pulled up and saw the words “pork center“ I just had to go in. Take your time walking around, but if you need more expedited field trip, go straight to the back right and walk toward the left, just perusing the back wall. On the back right you will see the breakfast meat with House made sausage ranging anywhere from the length of your forearm to the length of your entire wingspan. Shelves up upon shelves of canned goods made specifically for the grocery store with the same ingredients, your grandparents used to eat instead of all the junk that is put into things now. Think bread and butter, pickles that actually tells you the name of the spices, and homemade preserves and jams without extra chemicals for preservation or a bunch of corn syrup. go down the line to see the largest selection if meat and especially pork I’ve ever seen in a grocery store,.! In terms of pork, they have ever cut you could possibly imagine. Even specialty defines like pigtails, split pigs feet, cured salted cuts for seasoning, ham hocks, cubed pork steak and the list goes on. They even have sausages hanging and country hams hanging in sacks behind the counter. Keep walking down for a large selection of baked goods baked offsite but clearly from a country bakery. Now, I will say I was a little disappointed to see corn syrup used in some of the baked goods, showing me it was a larger, even if still local, commerical bakery. However based on the look you can still tell there is a quality of care for the products. Go next door for a wonderful classic country cooking style breakfast or lunch.”
