“I've been using the PNC Bank branch in Wakefield fairly often, as the branch in Wake Forest closed a few years back. It is located in the Wakefield Commons shopping center.
The branch has an outside ATM, drive-thru, and the lobby is also open during the week.
The employees have been friendly the times I have needed to go inside to complete transactions. The ATM is normally more convenient for me, since this location isn't near me and hard to get to when open. The ATM thankfully can handle most transactions, including deposits of cash or checks. For withdrawals, it even has a bill select. if you would like a variety of denominations.”

“I want to give a shout out to Amanda Bos. It's because of her that I finally got my grandson bank account established. She knew exactly what I needed. She wasn't guessing through the process and this time it was seamless. My reason for giving her a shout out is because I had been to three different credit unions and they all gave me the runaround. The branch on Blue Ridge told me they needed his Birth Certificate, mind you I had been there previously and I was told all I needed was the letter from Social Security. It's a long story too many details, but just know that Amanda Bos on Town Center drive got it taken care of.”

I went in to this 5/3 branch to notify them, and to get advice on some financial difficulties I'm experiencing due to complications arising from his death.Brian greeted me as soon as I walked in the door, and directed me to Jacob's desk. Jacob impressed me over and over with his depth of knowledge of all things banking and estate (how often does a new widow walk into a bank?). But even more than that... so much more than that... Jacob was remarkably KIND to me. He genuinely cared about me and the situation I was in. He listened to my concerns, asked a few very good questions, and showed me what all my options were. “Every time I enter or go through the drive thru here it is quick and easy. It’s always been my favorite SECU in the area.
Yesterday, I went to this location for assistance on a few accounts and wow, Jennifer Cassell is an angel! She took the time and looked at my accounts and saved me a ton of money. Jennifer could have just gotten me in and out of there quickly, but instead took the time to find me the best rates. The 30 minutes I spent in Jennifer’s office yesterday was life changing and I could never thank her enough.
