“The team here is always very kind. The store is almost always easy to navigate. Only time that's an issue is when they are resetting aisles or when they get a large truck.”

“Wonderful customer service. Donald Becknell is a great assistant manager. He helped us find exactly what we were looking for. Prices are a little high but understandable, but worth every penny. Great family friendly atmosphere. Love this store.”
“I suggest yall blind side back in. Dont pull in and definitely don’t back in till your appointment. Street parking will be your best bet no one will bother you. Idk about the school security or cops but I seen drivers park for the night and no one said anything. Again, BLIND SIDE inside this place it will make your life 10X easier. If you need help or assistances they will come out and help you. It may look intimidating but it’s not. Just do not pull in. DO NOT PULL IN. blind side back in. Go through the grass if you have too.”
“Gets the job done, usually has what you need in-stock, self-checkout is about as painless as it gets.
Glad to see some of their management staff who were verbally abusive towards staff members no longer seem to be employed at this store.”
“Very friendly workers and most of the time they have everything I'm looking for. I livecright in town so it's so convenient to go there when I need something”
“I literally walked around for 20 minutes just to discover that Say Fresh market access the street from the train station was the best, little spot in Wilson! I fully expected to get head cracked on the prices, but I was honestly happy with the lady Judia! And I loved the convenience!”

“Cheapest gas in Wilson and delicious hot homemade biscuits and breakfast sandwiches 😋 Definitely a low frills spot but they have everything you need for a gas station”
“This store about three miles from my home so therefore location is a plus, and you practically can get pretty much anything you want from this store. Also the employees are friendly very helpfull when needed. This place is just awesome.”
“This is my favorite local store to go to in Wilson! They have amazing fountain drink deals to keep you cool and refreshed. They also have household items (to an extent) and a Pizza Inn which is great! The food is always fresh and the staff is very friendly and know us by name which makes us come back time and time again.”
“Frankly I am biased toward places like R.A. Fountain General Store - I like books, music, history, old things and old-fashioned ways. Being of the warm and kindly people who live around here, Alex and Elizabeth run a warm friendly venue of music and literature with snacks and treats in an environment that simultaneously evokes memories (personal and shared) of old libraries, meeting halls, and old-fashioned stores with ice cream, bakery goods - and a healthy portion of antiques…. In short: a little trip back in time.
But what really makes this place a delight is the friendly atmosphere fostered by the kindly, welcoming nature of Alex and Elizabeth, and their eclectic mix of friends and customers. Bring in Alex’s knowledge of writing, books and local history along with his welcoming yet frank conversation, it makes it hard to leave. So you stay a bit, have some snacks and a coffee, browse the books and pick one out (maybe two or three), learn something about them on a relevant topic of literature or history and head home feeling a little happier and a little smarter from time well spent.
If you notice a musician or a band being promoted for an upcoming performance there I suggest you go, you’ll have a great time. But if you want a good seat up front - make sure you get your ticket in advance!”
