“My wife and I, and our two dogs were traveling across country to visit family for the holidays from upstate NY through SC and FL when suddenly the engine light came on, our car was shaking violently, and the engine began misfiring. As it was late at night, a few minutes after 6pm, every mechanic within a 25 mile radius was either closed or unable to see us, except for Mike’s Auto. Despite it being a few minutes before closing, their professional and skilled mechanics took us in, diagnosed the issue (spark plug and core pack died) and repaired it within a matter of minutes. They even took a special trip to the auto parts store to get the parts they needed for the repair. They were extremely kind, courteous, professional and showed us true southern hospitality (despite our being Yankees with two big dogs). Their mechanics Madison and Mike were the pinnacle of professionalism, honesty, transparency and their communication/customer service was the best we’ve ever received. They truly saved our Christmas and we don’t know what we would’ve done without them. Stephenson's is my go to place for any auto work like oil changes, NC state inspections, new tires and wheel bearing replacements. All work they've done for me was on time and at a reasonable price. It's the only place I'll trust with my cars in the Smithfield or Clayton area.”
