“Top notch! My check engine light came on in my 2010 Toyota Corolla and was feeling jumpy. It was a misfire in one of my cylinders. I recently had a baby so it’s been sitting in my driveway for a few weeks while I’ve been home. I was out to lunch with my dad who was visiting from out of town in downtown Clayton and came across Michael’s. He called and got their answering machine as it was the weekend and they were closed.Michael called my dad back first thing Monday morning. I reached out to Michael with more details and explained the issues I was having and he provided me with a quote over the phone. He said he was aware that I had a newborn and that he would be able to fit me in wherever my schedule would allow!I called him back that afternoon to let him know I’d like for him to go ahead and fix it, he said he’d have the parts in 10 minutes and to come on down!I arrived and he guided me right into the bay. He replaced the spark plugs which were shot. He then checked out my coil packs. I was prepared and ready to have them all replaced but he let me know that he didn’t think I needed them all, just the one. He called to have the part delivered, it arrived within minutes and he had it fixed in no time.Car is running so smooth now. Michael is a great mechanic- honest, considerate, professional, and affordable. I would recommend anyone go to him with car needs. My repairs were nothing major, but necessary and Michael made it happen. I will not hesitate to use him in the future. He’s my new mechanic!”

I told him that I was selling my car, and that I had a buyer, but the buyer wanted a side dent fixed or asked if I could come down on the sale price of the car. Brain asked me to come by and that he would take a look at the dent. Brian is a great guy! He looked at my car for free, gave me a free estimate for the cost of repair, and gave me solid advice and wisdom on what I should do in my situation!! This says a lot about a person and a business. “Drove from Wilmington helping a friend recover his father's Truck from impound. Both battery's were dead. Everyone went above and beyond to help! Finally got the Truck running with about 30 minutes of effort. The person who helped us was empathetic to the situation, patient, eager to help, almost intimidating with her mechanical knowledge, even more skilled with her common sense approach. The mind-blowing experience for me, is that she is Athletic and looked more like a college cheerleader. IF I LIVED IN the area, I would probably have my vehicle towed regularly just watch her work!
