“A lot of times you go to these gas stations like Exxon Mobile shell BP and out of state gas is like 349 so high and you can really use the rewards when you try to put your number and it's always some confusion so it's best to just get 10 bucks from here and move on to a Circle K or gas station that you sure has a reasonable price.”

“If you know, you know… and now I know. I stopped by the Percy Flowers Store while traveling through Eastern North Carolina and grabbed one of their almost famous hot dogs — and let me tell you, “almost” is the most humble understatement in North Carolina history. ??
That hot dog didn’t just meet expectations… it sprinted past them. Perfectly dressed, packed with flavor, and served up with that classic small-town charm you just can’t manufacture. The kind of place where the food is simple, legendary, and somehow tastes like a memory you didn’t know you had.
From the moment you walk in, there’s that nostalgic country-store vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. Friendly faces, quick service, and hot dogs that deserve their own fan club. It’s no surprise this spot has built such a loyal following over the years.
Whether you’re local, just passing through, or hunting down the best hot dogs in Eastern North Carolina — put this place on your list. I’ll definitely be stopping back by for more… and probably sooner than I should. ??
