“This store in Rocky Mount N.C. is always clean. Saw a worker cleaning the floors over from the pocket books. The floor was spotless. I talked to her about how clean the floors were. Her name was Alice and she was a very nice lady. I admire her because she really seemed to enjoy her job. If you go in the T J Macks in Rocky Mount N.C. check out the cleanliness of this store. If you see Alice. Tell her she's doing a great job.”
“I have been to alot of Roses department stores in my lifetime. However, I will say this location is pretty mind boggling. Why do I say that? Well, normally a Roses department store is located in a lower income neighborhood within a run down building - providing some of the basic necessities for a family. This location was a complete surprise! They had a very large furniture selection with pieces from Ashley's furniture, rugs, and more. It puts you in mind of Ollie's (if you are familiar with them). The store is huge and very well maintained. Shelves well stocked, floors clean, items located with ease for the customer to find. It's nothing like what I remember going up to visit when in certain areas. I would say things were priced pretty well for what's being offered.”
“No name on receipt and saw no name tag but my cashier was nice. Store was clean & obviously preparing the floor for big sales Thanksgiving week so a wheelchair or walker couldn't get around easily. Not all employees spoke but they atleast had one on the floor actually helping. Red head was rude & offensive to another customer as I walked out the door over a price check. Glad it wasn't me.”

“The staff here is absolutely wonderful, a very Clean store that's been newly remodeled with cooler and freezer upgrades. This location now has Ice Cream, Dairy, frozen Foods, deli, and let's not forget Cold Beer. Stop in today and see how they have remodeled to better Serve You.”
“stopped in for a soda but when I saw they had a rack outside the door with alittle of somthing from all my favorite depts. and it was up to 70% off....well I shopped for close to an hour and bought a little of this and a little of that and spent just the coins in my wallet. Left there tickled at my purchases and best part is I didnt need anything but a cold soda when i stopped....Those girls working were pleasant, helpful, and fun...love that kind of shopping experience.”

They have gift cards for one because every other store in elm city doesnt have them, the cashier was really nice, but im giving this four stars because my brother bought a wallet from there and he payed for it but they forgot to take off the sticker so when he walked out the alarm started beeping and he got permanently banned.”

“Best place for all my special , Birthday cards and any other special occasion holidays, candy’s, $1.00 cookies chocolate chip, coconut macaroons . Love knowing that if you buy their balloons in the package of 12, 20, or less they will.blow them up for a small fee, that’s first time , I used there service , durning Christmas Eve for my decease sister birthday, the young man who waited on me were very helpful and kind employee, especially on Christmas Eve , he was the only cashier working on checking out! “You can sometimes find some real bargains at Ollies. Be sure to use your shopping apps on your phone to compare prices. Sometimes Ollies is cheaper, but some items might be better purchased newer. I like to come and see what’s on the shelves. The employees are always nice.”
“It's one of my favorite places to visit. I love the graphic tees, and you can find some old-school candy that you can't find anywhere else. Everyone was nice and friendly. Very helpful.”
“Ive stopped here while travelling many times over the years and I've always had great experiences. They have always had everything I went in for, even during the "Dr. Pepper crises shortage" a few years ago. I love this place because every time I've stopped here, I treat it like a convenience store and spend less than 3 minutes inside. The lines have never been long and I've never had to wait or ask where anything was because the layout of the store makes sense”
“Nice and clean. The parking lot was clean and I do judge as soon as I drive up. A few cents higher than the one about 2 miles down the street but its better stuff here!”
“Needless to say we all seem to prefer convenience over most all else. Normally Dollar General carries a fairly decent variety of products. Lately, with the corona virus, actual variety had pretty much dried up. On my past visit I am happy to report that the store was at least 92% of capacity. Hoorah!Bless us all.”

“There prices are low you can buy food,cleaning items, kitchen items, other items that you can buy for a reasonable prices. Also they do have different things for your house. I love all dollars that can save me money. Also they do have digital coupons that help you save too!”

“Love this store. For one, its a bigger store and they have a lot more items to choose from. Like surprising name brand items going for 6 dollars at Wal-Mart so you feel like you need to get 3 or 4 to stock up on them so you save more money in the long run. Just check the expiration dates on the name brand things that seam like they dont belong here, because I have made the mistake of purchasing multiple items that weren't exactly for daily use and by the third bottle I realized they were expired. The store was clean well organized and again, they have a vast selection of multiple items gor every section in comparison to the smaller stores”
“I live in MO. , but every time I visit my home town Roses is definitely one of my pit stops! I love Roses from the time I was a little girl. I have ALWAYS LOVED ROSES. My Mother & I would go to Roses 2-4 times out the week, just to check out the great deals. They always have great deals. Deals that work out with the working persons wallet. I truly wished there was a Roses in the Midwest (STL).”
