“I’ve stopped at this quaint store several times while passing through the great countryside of Silk Hope, North Carolina. The store owner goes by the name of “Chub.” He so graciously welcomed me into his small, family owned business. It is evident that he makes every person who walks through the store doors feel like family. You can always count on a group of older men gossiping about the “rotational grazing” methods for their livestock. AND their pizza is the BOMB!! I look forward to seeing Chub and the other Silk Hope farmers on my next visit to “good ole’ Silk Hope Service!””
“The ladies that work there are so awesome! I needed ranch this evening before closing, and even though there was not any on the shelf for sale, they made it happen!! I had enough ranch for a family of 6 eating chef salad for dinner!! And this isn't the only time...they ALWAYS go above and beyond to help. You really feel like family. It's like going and asking your neighbor to borrow a cup of sugar..lol... Always looking out for the community. I love it! That's like non existent now days.”

“It's basically like any other convenience store. How you're helped and treated is based on who that business hired to represent their business. You have some people who work just to get a check ( we all work to get paid) , not caring about how they treat the customer ( not a people person) Then you get the clerk, who cares about their job and the customer, for whom they are serving. Which in my eyes, makes a repeat customer. Which causes the business to Thrive, and make good money for the owner. No one likes to go to a business and spend their hard earned money, and in return, get talked down to or ignored. We spend our money, where we get good services.”
