βTo me all dollar generals are the same this one did not have carts blocking your path in the store. I did not see any empty shelves. And the young man working the register was fast friendly and professional.β
βGreat prices, produce, deals, and overall atmosphere. People are kind and it may just be a quarter but ppl are willing to give it. The store and carts are always clean and employees are welcoming and attentive.β
βAlways love a piggly wiggly. Won't find a better meat department stocked with a variety of fresh meat anywhere. They are always well staffed with plenty of registers opperating. They also have a wide variety of fresh cakes that are always deliciously.β
βIt's so wonderful to have a neighborhood store that cares about the community! If they don't have it here, chances are good you won't need it! Meaty meats, veggie vegetables, and everything in between. Great selection of frozen stuff, spices, snacks, beer, wine, fresh deli meat, dairy, and a deli if you want something to eat right then and there. The food bar also has a great selection ready to eat. Produce is always good. What more could someone ask for?β
βI have to stay out of here. I'm a big plant person and they keep their plants and fresh flowers right at the door. I always go in for one thing and leave with many, including another plant. It's my go to for most of my grocery needs.β
βThe people in the office are very knowledgeable and very nice folks. I would recommend everyone that need a whole hog to go see these people. The gentleman in the office even took the time to explain to me how to cook my hog ( first time). I am very satisfied with my purchase and the great service that I received.β

βThis location seems to be the exception for Dollar Generals is always tidy and in good shape and the staff is very friendly and helpful I drive out of my way to avoid the dollar store in my town to get to this oneβ

βI live less than a half mile from this Food Lion. So, I shop here at least once or twice a week. It used to bother me when they were always short of cashiers. Thankful there are more at the registers, now. I want to brag about a young man, Elbert who stocks the grocery shelves. Whenever, I have to ask him for help, he goes above & beyond to get me whatever I am looking for. He does it with a smile! Some of the stockers act like it is a bother &:they're too busy. Elbert always put customers first! Food Lion, please keep Elbert. He is definitely an asset! Thank you, Elbert for caring!β
βGood choice of stores but parking lot is extremely run down which gives a discouraging appearance. Tend to shop simply because you already know what's there.β
βIt is a clean store which is nice when shopping. It is pricier than Food Lion but you can find things here that you can't at Food Lion. They will also have their weekly deals and special promo items. The staff is usually friendly and helpfulβ
βMy absolute FAVORITE Foodlion in Wilson! Store is always so organized. I drive and shop for instacart. If I can choose, I will go to Pepper Mill everytime. The are for the most part well stocked. Normally I dont have to make substitutions for my customers either. 5 out of 5 for me!β
βI love the people that work here. They're all friendly and treat you like they've known you all their life. The prices are decent considering it's a country store.β

βCalled to see if they had filled propane tanks for sale during this cold snap. They were sold out, as I expected (everyone in the area is as well). The owner called me back a minute later and told me he called a store a few minutes down the road and they had tanks available. Thank you so much!β

βThis store keeps on getting better! It has snacks, drinks, food, candy, and beer! Also employees are very nice! The owner's wife is really nice and really cooperative! Also the store is always clean! He cleans it daily! I recommend you go here other than the other grocery stores because they other ones aren't as clean and great as this one!β

βLove the folks that work there! Kind, funny, honest, caring, & awesome attitudes. I had lost my wallet a few months ago. Went there to see if I had left it there & as soon as I walked in, they said they had been waiting for me to come back by because they had found it. Everything was still in my wallet, cash included!!! They found it before a customer could find it and take off with it. Absolutely amazing group of folks working there!!!β
βSmiling, courteous and friendly employees! I usually get a warm greeting when I arrive and a friendly goodbye when I leave. The store is clean, I can usually find what I need in a hurry. I'm so glad DG came to Sandy Cross!!β

βMy #1 favorite Dollar General store! It's great to do lite, I just need a few items, shopping! It's also a great store to shop because it normally has what I'm needing or looking to get. It being close to my house makes it even better! ?β
