“Big props to bank cashier Abby Gwyn who just kept me from tearing First Citizens a new one after charging me a $12 service fee for my "Free" checking account after 15 years. I try to do business with local vendors but after they closed the West Smithfield branch and now the Cashpoints ATM in West Smithfield is now SECU, First Citizens is making it more than difficult. This is obviously not my primary account and ironically I was making a deposit when I discovered my service charge. Again, First Citizens should be glad Abby was my cashier and able to help me with with these frivolous fees and it was on a Friday afternoon too! Otherwise, this review would have been waaaaay different and I would have had to be mean to someone if they weren't as helpful as Abby was.”
