Customer service is an issue here but I focus on the Beautiful clothes and ignore the unhappy workers. To them I say, we all have our own problems but please find a way to stay happy. Happiness is a state of mind, work through your problems/worries. We (your customers) all have them as well!! 💜”
“Everything was great, friendly service, nice people. Then the large black lady came off break REEKING of weed. Then she used some tooty fruity BS spray to try to cover the stink. So the entire store then smelled like a fruity skunk. And of course she ended up being the person to check us out so my daughter’s clothes smelled like fruity skunk.”

“Yesterday I went into loft with my wife as she needed new clothes for work. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed very kindly. She then proceeded to ask my wife if she needed help with anything and she made us feel like she was there if we were having trouble. My wife couldn’t find some things as this was our first time into loft. And she was there to help us find what we needed. I proceeded to ask the young girl her name and she told me Aida. She is very sweet and SHE DESERVES A RAISE!!!”

I recently visited the Smithfield location and was pleasantly surprised. The variety is amazing, and the clothes are both stylish and affordable—something that’s becoming harder and harder to find these days.
Whoever is responsible for buying merchandise for this company does an outstanding job. There are options for different ages, styles, and body types, and I found several things I loved. The store was clean, organized, and easy to shop, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.
After more than a decade away, Cato has definitely earned its way back onto my list of favorite places to shop. I’m so glad I stopped in and will absolutely be back.
