“This store is larger than it seems from the outside. They are packed with product and offer many deals throughout the store. We found the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. I recommend checking out the hat bar! Although I did not shop the clothing side of the store, the boot and hat side was impressive! We will be back!”

“I picked up my wedding dress today and it is absolutely perfect! I have a very large ball gown dress with a very long train. It has a ridiculous about to layers and tool to make it puff. Yet, despite all that, Elena made altered it seamlessly 😍 She is very nice, easy to have a conversation with, and prices are incredible. After my wedding, I will post my dress to show how beautiful she did!”

“I wanted to give a shout out to Kayla at the Garner Kohls location. She went above and beyond to replace an item for my daughter the was stolen out of her bag shortly after purchase. We knew we were not entitled to a replacement in that situation and I was prepared to purchase a replacment if need. But when I explained what happened she graciously give us a new item. My daughter was distraught when she found out her item was stolen. Kayla absolutely made her day with her kindness. 5 stars.”

“Upon first visit to the location, I was highly impressed by the organization, cleanliness, selection, and atmosphere that had been cultured, but for my first visit the customer service is what truly hit the mark. Lydia was the hallmark of my visit with her professional, knowledgeable, patient, and friendly demeanor. She demonstrated irreproachable commitment to a culture of kindness that differentiates fair and excellence in the retail industry. Her passion to charismatically assist was exemplified in answering all my questions about styles/brands, types of boots/pairings, how my selections looked on me, to questions about care for my selections. Promote ahead of peers. I hope to come shop again sooner than I think, and later than I'd hoped.”

“I shop at the Ross in Garner often, and I felt like someone needed to recognize one employee who truly stands out. Every time I come in, Shyejah is up front handling the front end by herself while other employees seem to be in the back. Despite being busy, she stays calm, professional, and treats every customer with kindness and respect. I’ve personally watched her deal with rude and disrespectful customers, and she didn’t let it affect her attitude with customers after .She showed the patience, and customer service skills that every retail employee should have. One day, while I was standing in line, I even called the store hoping someone would come help because the line was getting long. No one came. When I finally got to the register and asked Shyejah if she needed help, she simply smiled and said, “I got it.” That spoke volumes about her work ethic. While Shyejah deserves recognition, the store itself could use much better management. It needs a thorough cleaning, and management should do a better job supporting the employees who are working hard on the sales floor. If I owned a business, I would hire Shyejah without hesitation. She represents what great customer service looks like, and Ross is fortunate to have an employee like her. In my opinion .”
