“For 14 years, the Stop & Shop has been my second stop upon arriving at OBX (first is 7-11 for a Slurpee) The badge of honor (a window sticker for my jeep) is a must-have every time I arrive there!This year, I got a new pair of slides, several packs of saltwater taffy, some deli meat, some incense, and a few seashells!They sell just about anything you would need to hit the beach in style (including fishing gear) and most of what you'd need for your hotel or cottage to eat well...This store is located in the heart of the Outer Banks and a must-visit whether you are a seasoned beach-goer or new to the scene!They also offer many products made in the Outer Banks and those products are labeled as such.”

“Great place to stop! The two young ladies working Ashley and Lisa were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. They greeted us promptly and guided us through what the marina shop had to offer. Outdoor seating to relax by the water, fuel pumps, snacks, drinks, fishing tackle and sundries. We loved this quaint little Marina. We also met Samuel who works with Earth Resources a partner business selling rock, sand, mulch and more right there at the marina. Some the the most friendly folks you will ever meet. They Rock!”

“If you are gonna go to one of the Bru Thrus, come to this one. They have a wider selection of options and the staff is friendly. It's also a bit bigger, more Truck friendly.Lil tip for ya, if they have it, grab the Doc's Cider. We got the pumpkin!! It is legit the best cider I have ever had. We are thinking about planning a trip to Warwick, NY just to visit the actual brewery! I really wanna try the peach!! We came back and bought them out of the pumpkin before leaving town.”

“It's the place you need when you need it! Been going here for years, and it's really your last, best stop when you come on to the islands or before you leave them. Five stars for longevity and being open when I needed you! Prices are island prices, but you can't beat the location. Watch out during the summer because this place gets BUSY on the weekends!!”

“Stopped in this afternoon to get latest COVID vaccines for my mom, brother and myself. I scheduled online and completed the consent forms ahead of time. No waiting, painless injection, friendly helpful staff. At checkout, I had several coupons and a cart full of things. The cashier, Paula, was so helpful and friendly. Thanks to all the staff. “On a very cold and extremely windy early morning, I was leaving the Outer Banks and stopped here for gas and coffee. The attendant was very friendly and the coffee (ground and brewed on the spot) was a hot treat on such a miserable morning!Pumping my gas and cleaning my Jeep's windshield and windows were no easy task in that wind, but at least I had a hot cup of delicious coffee and an invigorated start to a 600 mile trip!”

“Holy bananas their bacon cheeseburgers are out of this world! Chicken is amazing as well but we definitely snuck back down there without the kids for another one before we left to go home! Ladies that work there are gems too. It may be unassuming on the outside but it’s 100% worth the gander inside!”

The store manager personally helped me find infant nail clippers when I was unsuccessful in my own search and the guy at the counter-Stephen I think-answered several questions I had about OBX. “Very pleasant experience! I got me a pickle ? I got me some sour straws? I got me some exotic lifesavers? a treat I haven’t found anywhere else! They have a wonderful array of frosty flavors and all kinds of delectable treats! Very pleasant cashier, rung me up and didn’t complain when I had to count out my exact change of 8.42 cents! It took me a while but he accepted with a smile! Bars. One star deducted for this flabbergasting price for these oddly shaped and rather off putting chicken salad sandwiches :/. also where are the kangaroos? Circle K? Kangaroo express? Huhhhhh?”

“My fiancé and I come to this gas station regularly, and I’ve never had any issues with the staff there! They’re always very sweet and helpful to me, and they do a great job at keeping things clean and tidy! I usually step in to use their restroom, and its always clean and working! Their sink even has hot water, which a lot of gas station bathrooms struggle to provide (in my experience). All of the products are stocked well and organized, and they have a good variation of food, drinks, and even some toys/collectibles! I dont work here, nor am I related to any of the staff, but I believe I would have great relationships with all who work there! I definitely recommend!(Disclaimer: I was not paid for my review either. I just really like them!)”

“Very nice new and updated 7-eleven with all the new nice coffee machines we love. Really well stocked inside with snacks and drinks and food. Gas was fairly priced and cheaper here than in Virginia Beach!We were able to get snacks and drinks for our trip back easily and grab a "bougie" coffee to go. Friendly employee at the register and spotless bathrooms wrapped up this visit.”
