“I love this little family owned store. Staff is always kind and helpful. Its stocked like a grocery, even includes a cooler with fresh produce. Meats from Mays Meat in Taylorsville. The prices are good! We stop by everytime we pass by.
Gas and propane on site also”
“The best part about this Food Lion is the people that work here. You feel the respect they have for one another in watching them interact with one another. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to assist or answer any question that I or my partner had.
The facility was very well maintained including extremely clean restrooms ?. What I found to be the most unique was the layout of the Beer/ wine section of the store.
It has character and nice organization the entire layout of the store provides you with a smooth and seemless shopping experience from start to finish. The produce was by far some of the freshest I've seen across all of NC.
This location lives up to grassroot reputation of being a community safe place as you most definitely sense the feeling of community when you enter the venue.”

“Food Lion is a great grocery store for any type food that you want to prepare yourself at home.
They also have fresh food prepared for self service to take out. A large section of fin Wines and assorted beer’s.prices are good. Fresh baked pies and cookies as well. The meat is very good hi grade beef chicken pork and fish.:”
“My father was at food lion on February 12th and had a fall resulting in a broken hip. The employees there were very kind and tried to help him up without knowing it was broken. We wanted to thank each and everyone of them for being so kind and helpful. I appreciate everyone’s concern and will continue to shop at this store with such wonderful people.”

“I frequent the dollar general often. I pay my phone bill there, do some minor shopping and in a pinch buy motor oil or car care products. Prices are comparable to Walmart but it always seems like the shelves are never stocked. They need better help and it would be a great store”

“I've been going to this store since I was a little girl(my age was about 7 years old)it was Sigmon's Superette and Tommy and Judy Sigmon had a gift shop on the other side of the store. They HAD SOME AWESOME ITEMS AT THE GIFT STORE!! I JUST REALLY ? LOVE THIS STORE!! And now it's Propst Superette and Robin is the manager there at the store and SHE'S MOST DEFINITELY ? A TERRIFIC PERSON INSIDE AND OUTSIDE!! And she's a DECADED WORKER TO THE PROPST FAMILY!!! I JUST ? LOVE ROBIN AND THE WHOLE STUFF ,THEY ARE TERRIFIC AND AWESOME PEOPLE ??!!!! “Very good i would come to this dollar general more often but sadly I live in Alabama. It was clean and had a wide variety of foods. I found a peanut butter and jelly jar that was swirly and tasted delicious. I would recommend it if you are in a pinch and need food for a low price and high qualify.”
