Food Lion is a well-regarded grocery store, especially convenient for vacationers in North Carolina's mountain areas. Customers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the clean store and ample parking. The shelves are generally well-stocked, offering a good selection of goods, including delicious pastries, deli items, and a decent local craft beer selection. While the prices are considered reasonable, some shoppers noted occasional shortages in stock and advised caution when purchasing meat due to items being close to expiration. The store features self-checkout lines, which many find convenient. Overall, Food Lion provides a satisfactory shopping experience with easy access and beautiful mountain views.

Great experience. Friendly employees, very kind and polite customers. I have shopped here for many years while on vacation. The store is very clean considering the volume of customer traffic and the shelves are always full.
