They’re just pricey and you have to do your research on parts so you know how much parts SHOULD cost. They caught issues that our regular place didn’t, which makes me a little skeptical but I know to ask about it now. I would go back.”

“There is not a diesel issue which Oliver Diesel can‘t figure out. We had our Ford diesel at two different Ford dealerships for an intermittent no start issue. One location told us it was the FICM which we replaced at a tune of $1250.00 after which we still had the no start issue. The other dealership couldn’t figure out the no start issue. We talked with a local diesel repair shop and they told us we needed to install an upgrade kit for the engine to fix the issue. We then heard about Oliver Diesel and took our Ford diesel to them for the no start issue. Within 24 hours they found the issue. It was a cracked fitting for the high pressure oil pump. We definitely recommend Oliver Diesel. We drive 80 miles one way in order to get their excellent service.”

“When reading reviews, it's important to remember that dissatisfied customers are often more motivated to leave feedback than satisfied ones, resulting in a higher number of negative reviews. However, a business like Battleground Tire, which has been around for a long time and maintains a near 5-star rating, speaks volumes about its quality. Negative reviews are inevitable unless the review count is very low, which can be a concern in itself.
Going to an auto mechanic shop is daunting primarily because many people aren't sure if they will be deceived or not and so it can feel like a gamble. One we all must at some point take and one that feels especially burdensome for many of us. It's like the joke goes, don't talk to positively about finances around your car.
I've been a customer of Battleground Tire for about two years now, and have had tires, brakes, some steering work, alignment, state inspections, oil changes and tire rotations done here (probably forgetting something). It's long overdue but I feel compelled to share my positive experience. Given they have become my go-to auto shop in GSO, today I visited them to inquire about a service I wasn't sure they offered. Anthony checked with the necessary staff and informed me that he could have someone look at it if I really wanted, but emphasized that it is not their specialty and he wouldn't want something to go wrong.
This level of honesty and transparency is why I trust Battleground Tire and will continue to choose them for my automotive needs.

“I had a great experience. We suggested the issue with our car and they did a test to confirm it. The quote was on the high end, but was willing to work with me. The service was done the same day which is a breath of fresh air. Again a little high on price, but counterbalanced with same day job completion. I received great customer service.

“Good. A lot of people don’t know Thais but if you buy 4 new tires from them you get a free for life , free tire , balance and rotation, and if you sign up to get like a warranty on a tire if anything happens to it, they replace it for free. At least the free rotation and balance I got that back about 2014 but I still think they have that deal. Just call and ask.”
