“Price on the tires were fine. However, after two times not being able to balance the Neto Terra grappler g3s, they told me that I needed a road Force balance. They did refund a portion of the price that I paid because they couldn't balance them. However, once I took it to another shop they said basically all I needed was somebody that knows what they're doing as the least worst tire was an ounce out of balance. They also scratched the center of my black rims that was brought up to me at the last place I went to to have them balanced as they were very diligent on making sure that I knew that they did not cause those scratches. So disappointed as I bought tires from here before but I don't think I'll ever be back because it just doesn't seem like they know what they're doing or the guys in the shop don't care because every time I go there there's so many standing around and nothing getting done. I just wish people took more pride in what they do.
Edit/Update. After multiple calls from the corporate office and the shop manager, I have updated my review to 4 stars. Although they couldn't fix my issue, but they seemed especially sincere about making sure they understood the problem and trying to resolve it moving forward. The shop manager was extremely nice and helpful during our phone conversation. Still not 100%, but definitely a big step in the right direction.”

“So, I'm here visiting my sister friend and while we were on the highway, we ran over a metal wire. Needless to say, the closest place was Discount Tire. We went in was greeted by Lamar who was the bomb.com! He was kind, patient, helpful, AND he gave us good suggestions for live jazz music here. We were able to get all her tires and a realignment for a very reasonable price.
While we were waiting for her vehicle, Noah complimented the cleanliness of the car AND we talked about the food truck Sazon Latino (which is next door, you should try it 😉) Again, Great service from great people.
I'd go to a tire discount if I knew there were people like Lamar & Noah working there.”

“Do you want your Ford fixed and fixed right? Then go to Oliver Diesel. From now on, I will not take my E-350 anywhere else.
After dealing with other shops that were completely unhelpful, finding Oliver Diesel was a total breath of fresh air. The other shops told me it was nearly impossible to fix (AC issues) or there was nothing wrong with it (front rotors were heating and locking up after 15 min). Oliver Diesel gave me an honest assessment from the start, addressed every single one of my concerns without hesitation, and completed all the repairs in a remarkably timely manner.
I am now driving around safely with nice cool air and with no brake system issues. Thank you, Oliver Diesel! Their communication throughout the entire process was top-notch and extremely professional. If you want honest, quality work done right the first time, look no further!”

“We drove from Connecticut to Greensboro N.C. and my jeep grand cherokee limited started to overheat. The dealership was way to much money, so we got a recommendation to here. So glad we did. They are a small shop and had the jeep for several weeks, but the head gasket, spark plugs, and practically every other seal needed replacing. Amazing family and great work!!”

“2 weeks ago I came in with an unusual request. A few years ago, this location did a NC inspection on my bus as part of my registration (so I went here 1st with my unusual request). I needed to move & scrap upcycle my bus (I am in the process of relocating). They didn't have mobile mechanic service, so I asked the front desk rep (sorry it was a full on day, didn't exchange names I was anxiously seeking solutions), if he could recommend a towing service & metal recycling for my school bus converted to RV. He was kind enough to reach out to his brother, who in turn provided a contact at Foss Recycling. I went to Foss Recycling in Greensboro, happened to meet the contact that was recommended there. He (Dylan) recommended a towing service out of Virginia and worked it out for my bus to be accepted at the Foss Recycling in Reidsville, NC location. A HUGE solution to a highly worrisome situation for me. It all came about from this gentleman reaching out to his brother! 🙏🏽 He didn't need to do that, could have sent me on my way since McCarthy was not able to help me. Thank you front desk gentleman at McCarthy Tire Service in Greensboro, NC - it was an unusual request but you started the ball rolling to a solution for me. Thank you to your brother as well 😊🚌 .....ps. Hope y'all don't mind me posting this here, but example of going beyond service and I'm back in Morrisville NC over an hour away.”

“Been coming here for close to 4 years now, on the recommendation of a few different co-workers. This place NEVER disappoints. Not even once. They consistently deliver fantastic service up front at the desk by updating me what my car needs and explaining it in a way I can understand, to fixing my car at a really great rate. I almost hate to do a review in fear of way more people finding out about this gem of a place! Appointments are absolutely necessary for technical work, but I believe oil changes and things like that are walk up and wait things. And the greatest thing here, is that they do not find the million things wrong with my car to try and upsale me on services I may or may not need. They are honest and very hardworking. Super friendly too. Also, the work requested is done in a very fast manner. Thank you all that work there and I appreciate y'all so much for my peace of mind that I'm in a well-maintained vehicle!”
