“Overall a decent Dollar General location. Store is well stocked and kept clean, only annoying part is most times the only option is self check out and no counter help is available to check you out unless you want to wait a while for someone to make their way to the counter to rung you up.”
“Most of the staff are a pleasure and helpful. The kitchen/grill staff are always grumpy and have a negative attitude. I enjoy going here to eat because it's close to home but the rudeness of the grill staff makes me search for other places to eat”
“Everything you need is in one stop. Grocery, trinkets, small appliances, bedding,deli,full service butcher dept,real bakery, they even make sushi right in front of you. You name it, they have it. Even shoes. Lol”

“If you are vacationing in OIB and don't want a sit-down restaurant meal every night, consider visiting the Publix deli. The sandwiches are yummy and absolutely huge. We couldn't finish our food in one meal, so we had it for dinner and lunch the next day. I had the Italian sub and my wife got a buffalo chicken sub, which was basically a bread boat filled with chicken. Regular grocery prices are higher than what I'm used to, but tourism, I guess. Some of the product placement seemed odd (how come the paper towels were with the cleaning supplies instead of with the other paper products?), but that’s a minor quibble. The store is clean (except for the golf tee in the men's room sink and I don't want to think about why it was in there or what it was used for), the staff is incredibly friendly, and we would certainly return.”
“I love this grocery store. Its a bit pricey but the selection is worth a visit. They often have deals on various items each week. One item in particular that has me writing this review is in the deli area. They have a rib section or area. They cook these meaty, tender and delicious pork ribs with a tangy barbeque sauce. You can help but to lick your finger twice. So so good. I really hate sharing this because they are so good and price is good. You gotta try them. Best BBQ I had in Calabash....”
“I've been using online ordering for 5 years now and always satisfied until the last two months. They got rid of insta cart and are now using Flybuy which is horrible.
I can no longer track shopping. Messages concerning unavailable items arrive after shopping is complete so there's no way to approve or disapprove of substitutions.
I'm very unhappy with this new method of shopping.
I'm handicapped and depend on online shopping.

“I have been living in Supply NC for 3 year's now. When I want a good quality meat at a descent price, I go to Hills Supermarket. I have been cooking for 45 Year's, 28 of those year's in the public. I am very picky about what I purchased, if you want your money's worth then shop with them. They are Awesome”
“If you need anything, most likely you will find it here! Local Folks..... really local folks not those that say they are local and lived her 2-3 years. If you need information this is place to come. Need gas, boat gas, nets and traps, minnows and shrimp come here. If you want something for dinner come here Oysters, Scallops, fish, devil crabs, shrimp and more.... They will even tell you how to cook it! Coolers and beer what ever you need...Find it here along with a friendly smile... they love questions! Tell them Joy sent you”
“Stopped here recently for a few things, and proceeded to self checkout where I encountered Associate Wendy Cummings.
This young lady not only greeted me with a smile but, found coupons attached to some of my items that I was unaware of, and made sure they were all scanned, and I received the proper discounts.
She thanked me for my business and bid me a farewell wrapped in an authentic smile.
Definitely a star performance, that insures my future patronage at this location.”
“They do a great job there to keep in stock during tourist season. Not easy with the huge influx of visitors. This is the only grocery store in a 10-mile radius.”
“I love Lowe's Food Store ! I shop at two different locations one being Ocean Isle Beach, NC and the other Little River, SC. Both stores are very well stocked and clean. Associates and staff are very friendly and very helpful. I love the Little River location on Wednesday senior citizens get 5% off the grocery bill unfortunately Ocean Isle Beach does not honor the senior citizens on Wednesday! I also earn five s*** off every hundred I spend for gas which I purchase in Little River at their Lowes Food gas station very convenient!”
“Came here for a few things on 1/16/25. I have never seen a DG as clean, neat, organized and smelling great (a clean smell) as this location. The shelves were stocked, the shelf tags actually were up in place and correct, there were no boxes piled in the aisles just a really good shopping experience.
Even the cashier was nice (and that’s a rarity in today’s retail world).
I will certainly be back at this location again when I am in the area. Highly highly recommend it, you probably will be just as surprised as I was ( and no, I don’t work for DG or asked to write this, I mean it sincerely).”

“I’m sure I don’t have to remind anyone reading this that there are Dollar General stores popping up like weeds all over the country, and if you live in the Myrtle Beach (Horry County) area, you can’t drive 10 miles without passing at least one DG store. I live right across the border in Sunset Beach, NC and purposely go out of my way to drive and shop at THIS LOCATION despite there being TWO closer DG locations to my home. Why? Outstanding and unsurpassable customer service. The employees at this DG are some of the nicest and most professional I’ve ever encountered in a Dollar General (and I’ve lived all over the east coast: FL, WI, IL, NY, MA, AL, etc.). One employee in particular that always makes my shopping experience a better one is Stacie (i’m sorry if i spelled your name incorrectly, girl! lol.) thanks for being such a great worker and hospitable clerk. Give this girl a raise!”
“I brought 9 big tubs of dg clorox wipes 6 cans of lysol spray packs of clorox on the go wipes. Dg never lets me down. Now their stores are growing and have produce isles. Salad, fruit, veggies.”
