“I really like the Timberake location.
It has a unique feature I have not seen at many other DG's with the exception of Butner, NC.
A small, but mighty produce section.
Today picked up a 4 pack of fresh & pretty tomatoes for $3.50.
Seemed reasonable & much better than having to drive into Durham.
It is nice to pick up a few items for less than a C-store would charge.
Gift cards, OTC medications, laundry detergent, greeting cards, seasonal decor.
Cheese, package of socks.
It's nice to have the DG's close by for us in rural areas.
I give it 5 of 5.”

“I like how this store is only a mile down the road From where I live so if I have to get some stuff for the house they have a big selection to choose from they have everything from beauty products to motor oil for your truck or car to beer they have a big selection of frozen food aswell”

A bit older than the other stores nearby, but it has character, and some great deals for those who don't mind shopping for them.”

Mr. “PREACHER”Blalock is like a walking history book.Gas prices are compatible to any place in the area.Walking in the store you feel back in time. Geese they even have hose clamps in case you blow a hose of some sort.”
“Wonderful business but the employees needs to work on there attitude with customers.Last time I was there which was just a couple of days ago there was 2 employees there neither one was greeting customers as they was coming in. Every dollar general in person county i have been in within the past couple of weeks the employees was greeting every customer that walked in.Employees would say welcome to dollar general and hope u find everything you need if u need help just ask and one of us (employees)will help..Dollar general in Timberlake NC is the best dollar general that we have in person county.Rick is the manger of dollar general in Timberlake nc, Rick has made that store one of the best customers service store out of 4 stores we have in Roxboro..One thing I can say RICK THE MANGER OF TIMBERLAKE DOLLAR GENERAL HAS TRAINED HIS EMPLOYEES REAL GREAT.. EXAMPLE I HAVE BEEN IN THERE AND SEEN RICK TREATS HIS EMPLOYEES WITH RESPECT ...JUST LIKE HE WOULD WON'T THEM TO TREAT HIM AND HIS CUSTOMERS ...WISH EVERY STORE WAS LIKE THAT ONE BUT EVER MANGER IS DIFFERENT.. “Locally owned and operated it's a great neighborhood convenience store with alot of locally made goods such as honey, jams, jellies and homegrown hand cut steaks and meats. They sell a little bit of everything from hay for horses feed for all animals. If they don't have it they will try to get it for you.”
