We assumed it might be discarded, but surprisingly, an individual took extra effort to ensure the package got back to us. This act was truly remarkable, and we're incredibly grateful for it. “I mailed a letter to my daughter who’s away at school. The letter was inadvertently directed to my po box, rather than to her address. (The machine that scans the address saw the return address first, because the return address is directly above the address on the mailing label.) The folks at the Lawndale po were very observant to notice and kindly place the letter back into the mailstream, rather than just stuff it in my po box. If I didn’t have Informed Delivery, I would have never known of their acts of kindness. It makes me wonder just how much they go the extra mile every day!”
