“The girls were so sweet and personable. They looked through my things in a timely manner and gave me a fair amount for the things they kept. I was super satisfied.”
“Adorable little thrift, antique and boutique store full of eclectic things. New jewelry and gifts from local artists, “Marshall’s style” decor items, old linens, furniture, vintage kitchen items. Set up with booths, so lots of variety. Affordable and well-curated”
“So affordable. Other thrift stores are charging astronomical prices for clothes they got for free! Union cross has gotten all my donations and they will continue to be my favorite!”
“I like it there. Most of the women's clothing is 4.00. They have blue tagged items right by the door for 1.00. Everyday they have new specials where like on Monday seniors get 20% off their items. Friday it's clear glass items are half off. Things like that. The store is clean and is organized and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Best part is the money they make goes back into the community.”
“I have recently lost my job an I have been here in the past but I had to go yesterday and it was a really good experience I didn't feel like I was being judged for being there at all everyone was so helpful and polite and gave me enough for food to stretch for atleast week and half maybe was very grateful for everyone there would highly recommend if you live in stokes county and are ever in need!!!!!”

“Best prices on everything you can want, they have a lot of very clean clothes, toys, pocketbooks, etc.. Thanks again to all the nice, awesome, and wonderful family of people who run the store. They are the greatest people you'll ever meet. Thanks again for being a big part of this community...Love you guys and all you do for me and the people of Walnut Cove...”
“First off let me say that I have always/do enjoy shopping here and but for my experience today I would have given 5 stars. I'm a frequent shopper not because I need anything but because I love a bargain. However today I noticed
1. that there's been a big beautiful change in that the shelves are excellently organized. Kudos for that!
2. and I don't know if the uplift is the reason for the uptick in the prices but since #1 has happened so has #2.
What is bothersome about this is that when a BARGAIN store's products come from 100% DONATED items which means ANY amount they SELL an item for the store has made a 100% profit off that item.
And it's not for me that I question the price increase for because EVERY time I go to the store I go needing NOTHING and leave every time having bought items I don't NEED. Shopping there is a senior citizen past time.
My concern for the price increase is for the people who come to a second hand used items store because they TRULY NEED items they can purchase at BARGAIN store prices.”
“A great selection of consignment items at decent prices. The selection changes daily. And all the employees are very friendly and helpful. You never know what you'll find here.”
“Whatever they use to deodorize is so good I asked about it. No old clothes smell here! Shopped longer because of that scent machine. I paid $5 each for designer jeans and shirts. Went in to find a Kuerig. Found two for $15 and $20.”

“Great experience! I was struggling with a dress that I was trying on and couldn't find anyone nearby to help but one of the workers was so kind to help and the dress fit. I found so many nice items here and wished I lived here just for this Goodwill. Great prices and service.”
“One of our absolute favorite antiques stores. Great prices, great selection, and always a fun adventure to go on the weekend. I'd recommend checking it out ?”
“The absolute BEST thrift store I have ever been to! All clothing is VERY organized by size, color, and style. We ran into this store on accident, but we will definitely be back!”
“Love this location, I visit it often. Goodwill in general has become more and more of a retail store. I cannot get over the $4.99 for a T-shirt. A brand new Tee at Hobby Lobby is $5.59. At most T-shirts should be $1.99. I understand operating cost and staff wages but I've seen better looking Tee's in the buy by the pound bins then ones that are hanging on the racks. It's hit or miss with the household goods as it always has been that way.”
“They are very friendly people. Also, a lot of the bad reviews are from years ago, this store has new owners and are very nice. They just got the place a few months ago.”

“This Goodwill never disappoints! If you're like me you know that you cannot go into any store and find five pairs of different jeans that fit you good! I found five pairs today and that's pretty common when I go there. Jeans are 4.99 and you can beat it. Good quality items.”
“Love shopping here. The staff are super sweet, the folks working the thankless donation drive thru are very kind, responsive and helpful. Found many treasures here in the past few months since my mom passed, I like to think she’s leaving them for me to find, we spent many hours together enjoying this store. Clean, well organized, great book selection.”
