“This food Lion has good prices, is clean and well stocked and the staff is generally very helpful. They don't always honor the posted sales items, the peanuts rang up as 3.59 the clerk at self checkout said the sale was for canned peanuts. As far as the the buy one get one free offers, I was confused the clerk said sometimes you need to buy both other times you only need to get one am it's half price.”
“I went to the deli for some sandwiches, a guy named Greg made me two. As he made them I asked what his favorite sandwich was. He told me and made it sound delicious, so I asked him if he would mind making me one the way he likes it. He was friendly and quick making the food. He whipped up that sandwich ( that was in fact delicious) and had me on my way in no time. Going to the store was pleasant and enjoyable! The staff is always nice and eager to help.

“Absolutely obsessed with their catering! Everything looked beautiful, tasted amazing, and was done with so much attention to detail. The appetizer skewers were not only delicious but also presented so elegantly.
I also stop by regularly just to grab food for myself because Appetite has such a great selection and everything is always fresh. Highly recommend both their catering services and the store itself!”

“This Publix is a wonderful, well-stocked location with a kind and helpful staff. The produce section was full, fresh, and looked very healthy, and the deli area was clean and well maintained. The shelves throughout the store were nicely organized, which made finding everything I needed quick and easy.
Megan helped check me out, and she was an absolute gem. She was friendly, smiling, helpful, and very efficient. It’s always nice to leave a store feeling like you had such a pleasant interaction.

“I just had one of the best experiences I've ever had at a grocery store. I came in in the middle of a run on the local Greenway, hot and sweaty, looking for water and some popsicles to cool down. When I got to the register I realized I'd forgotten my wallet. I was prepared to take my $5 worth of merchandise back when Liz without hesitation offered to buy them for me. I don't know if this is company policy or this is just Liz but huge shout out to her and a culture that allowed her to offer that kind gesture.
It was unexpected. It was not necessary but it was very very appreciated! I I have loved Trader Joe's for years but this just solidifies my loyalty as a customer. Please put in my vote for Liz as employee of the month!

“My 1st time to Aldi. Need a .25 cents for the shopping cart.
What i realize is that there are full service supermarkets, & this is not. But whats good, the (organic) vegetables are fresher than supermarkets that buy in bulk & freeze & reasonable priced.
Aldi is affiliated with TraderJoe's. But more warehouse-like.
But I like the prices of the organic vegetables & sourced fish from the ocean, & frozen samosas. I still spend almost $60. Fresh non frozen organic vegetables.”

The store is well stocked, though the more exotic items will need to be found in a larger Food Lion. Locally owned with packing only a few miles away, I'm so glad I discovered Bear Food! The story behind the company makes it even better than my words are able to describe. “Don’t let it being a gas station stop you from getting something to eat at the in-store food counter. The fried chicken is, in my opinion, definitely in the top 3 in all of Union County. Arguably the best in the county. Don’t wait until the end of the day, they will run out of chicken.”

“This gas station /snack grill is a pleasant surprise located on the outskirts of Monroe. I happened upon this establishment one morningand was surprised when I walked in there was a little grill to the right of the front door. Although I was on a diet I could not refrain from ordering their homemade bacon egg and cheese sandwich cooked on the grill. Also the bathrooms were very clean. Next time I'm in the area I'm going to stop in and see what else I can try from their little menu.”
“Harris Teeter has everything you need. It’s a great place for grocery shopping and beyond. The tiramisu tastes better than a restaurant or bakery store. The salmon is so fresh and it’s nice they offer small portion. There are so many choices of drinks. Highly recommend to anyone.”
