Pomegranate Books is an independent bookstore located in the historic Borkenhagen House in Wilmington's Winter Park neighborhood. It is a carefully curated, small but well-selected collection of literary and life-enhancing titles for all ages. The selection includes an eclectic, interesting mix of classics and new authors, with a phenomenal low-priced used section. The store is clearly owned and operated by true book lovers and features a coffee roasting operation right in the space. The knowledgeable staff provides superb customer service, kindness, and conversation. The atmosphere is indescribably serene and comfortable, making visitors feel welcome, comfortable, and at home. The children’s area includes a few quiet games and a perfect reading nook. Customers often find exactly what they are looking for at this local gem, a place where they feel comfortable and welcome. It is a wonderful bookery with a well-cared-for collection, where many wish they could visit all the time to peruse and guzzle the in-house roasted coffee.
An amazing and eclectic book stoor. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. A good selection of books and other other items and is joined with a coffee house with delicious smelling coffee! Excited to go back and explore some more.

Personal favorite book store in town. It’s never too loud, the selection is always worthwhile looking through. There’s a feeling that the books are actually curated here instead of following a trend. With Zola next door hours can be spent, rather worthwhile place and cozy too.

I have been in a lot of bookstores in many states and this one has the nicest selection of curated books. The coffee shop is a huge bonus! The staff is friendly and the parking is so easy.
