“Love the store, living within walking distance is a life-hack builtin, staff (crew, excuse me) are awesome. It is on the small size sqft-wise, with a bit less shelf space than most TJ’s, but they stock local produce you can’t find at the grocery store, and of course the favorite brands of comfort food galore. Ahoy!”

Their cafe' & bakery treats turn a rough day around. You can sit outside and enjoy the weather while sipping a latte or tea.
They have sweet treats and healthy nutritious meals full of vitamins commonly absent from the American diet.
Anyone with gut health issues, is safe here. The owners go out of their way to ensure the food is clean and know the producers personally.
Everyone there is kind-hearted and considerate. They learn your name and preferences.
I personally enjoy learning about the Greek Orthodox faith, language and community. You can purchase incense next door in the bookstore.
They have the skin care products if you want soft buttery smooth skin that smells nice. Try the creams and hand soaps.
They always have clean bathrooms. ✨️
Their wines and spices fill the needs missed by large chain store.
If you have traveled abroad and miss certain dishes, they probably have the ingredients. If you ask nicely, maybe even a recipe. ?
They have little sweet treats and cute jokes on the wall. My favorite is the grandmother spoons.
It's also sweet watching the family grow. The owners have the best kids. The family is a treasure to the community. Please come meet them. They are a blessing every day.”
“I love going to Publix every week. The people who work there are always so helpful and kind. But the last few times I've been there their is never enough staff working the cash registers and then we have to wait and wait . I see 8 registers and two are open. Come on now you people have such a great store surely you can hire some people to work the registers. I'm still giving you 5 stars but let's make this adjustment. James”

“They recently remodeled and its looks great. You can see everything more clearly. They also now have a sushi bar which is so cool plus the massive wing bar. The deli looks great and you can now see everything more easily. The employee in charge of making sure the case is packed and the logo is done did their job great A+. The few things id complain about are the deli counter is way too tall for most people. I couldnt even see the person behind the counter. And the self checkout, they have the cube of self checkouts which are good but then they have the 12 items or less in the open but they dont have any self checkout with a counter for bigger orders. I like to use selfcheckout and get a whole cart full of on sale items and I coupon. So I need to be able to see if items ring up correctly. Also several items did not ring up the sales price, had to have someone manually input them. Over all im pretty impressed!”
“I love ❤️ going in to shop for 30 minutes for my weekly groceries. They may not have all name brands, but the brands are still good. I love it when it's just been stocked. They have a lot of new items. I still go to my favorite grocery store for a few items, but that only takes me 15 minutes. I save a lot of money going to Aldis.”

“I absolutely LOVE this store! I only wished they would put one in Walkertown! I'm a kindergarten teacher, and I have to grocery shop on a budget. This store has such amazingly good prices. It is not a big store, but you can get a lot of your groceries here. Their bakery section has the most incredible croissants! Don't let me start on their salmon and the variety of low cost cheeses this store has. When they have a sale it is truly worth going. Come on Lidl, PLEASE build a store in Walkertown!!!”
“Life-saver on many occasions. They're pricey but not too much and it makes sense because of where they are and how late they open. Nice service for groceries and some fresh produce which is always nice. The vibe is great. Can be a bit intimidating to join the bar crowd because they all seem to be from the neighborhood but I can't say they're not welcoming.”

“It's one stop shop, fresh deli, sushi, pizza, & bakery... Huge selection of products, extensive alcohol section. Starbucks in the store, so I can get my caffeine & sugar fix while shopping, lol. App that helps you shop, helpful staff. A full on pharmacy, with helpful, knowledgeable pharmacist on staff. Accept most insurance, medicare & medicaid. Financial services @ the front desk. Great prices & sales, & not to big, like a Walmart or Costco. Vic program is great too.”
“Truly the best grocery store experience! One person helped me find a brand of yogurt that was lactose free, and my cashier was exceptional (helping me to enroll in rewards and wrapping my eggs up safely) This truly feels like a luxury grocery store! I also really appreciate real ingredient options - my dr has my on a strict ingredients list, and I was able to find salad dressings that fit the bill!
If I were to offer any feedback, it would be slightly cleaner ingredients in the bakery. A lot of oils that dont work for me personally. But looking at it all still feels like a treat and im sure they taste heavenly ??”

“They're actually doing better at this Food Lion so I want to change my review. It's been cleaner and most employees are helpful. They have hired new employees and it's obvious that someone has trained them properly. I would keep an eye out for how they bag your groceries if you care about having your bread items possibly squishy or your other items damaged. I also have them double bag because their bags are really of poor quality.
Give it try and you can always find somewhere else if it's not to your liking.
Update: The employees have better attitudes and are very helpful for the most part which is nice to see. I'm back to shopping here regularly and I'm glad because I've been in the area for 20 years now and this was the first grocery store I frequented. So I can happily recommend them once again. :-)”

“I just love this store in particular. One of the cleanest. It's always welcoming and safe so far, to shop in the bakery department getting that soft brioche bread and croissants I like! And ALL the employees are polite, respectful, and helpful! They all deserve a pay raise!”
“Decent Food Lion. The one on hwy 150 has yet to install self-checkout, which my 7 yr old loves to use (hey anything to keep hey busy. Lol). And honestly, it is nice if you need to reevaluate the groceries you have in your cart and limit impulse purchases. But other than that, this Food Lion is nice and clean and stays open until 11pm!”
