“One of the better car washes in town. I have the unlimited plan and use it quite often. My only gripe which is probably my gripe everywhere Is the dryers don't run long enough. They do have towels outside to wipe down the areas the dryer doesn't get. Gas prices are about average maybe a few cents more because it's closer to the interstate. Inside the store selections decent. They've got some food and beverages. They have some hot food as well. They have fresh sandwiches and things during the say and donuts, muffins and pastries in the morning. It's a nice clean store and is conveniently located right on main and i-29.”
“Small store right off highway. Friendly folks, with a Mom and Pop feel. Small space, large merchandise accumulation. But, more then likely has your highway/travel needs..”

“Engine was overheating and needed more coolant, Teischa (hopefully I’m spelling that correct) was super friendly lots of help and very positive even offering us a funnel for the coolant. Very clean especially the restrooms very pleased!!”
“Sibika and Bhumika, stellar individuals! I don't know what the application process is here but you've found GREAT people and I thoroughly enjoy every time I stop in. Who even says that about a gas station? I guess me. It's me. Also, Chase and Nick are the BEST (hope I got their names right!). Very helpful with me and my son when we stop in. Always great gas prices by comparison, and if you scan the QR code at the pump to get Simonson Rewards, gas is always 10 cents off by entering your phone #. Great location right off the freeway too.”

Free air for your vehicle's tires. This is a big deal. Some other chains charge.
Bigger selection of grocery items than competitors. When is the last time you saw potatoes for sale at a convenience store/gas station? You will at KWIK STAR on 35th Street South and 12th Avenue South.
Clean restrooms, which is an indicator of many other items.
Quality cooked chicken--no ordinary chicken, wink--has regular customers.
This Kwik Star has ample staff, so ladies, you won't have time to do your nails, and gentelmen, we won't have time to do whatever men do in lines.
Lottery tickets, ATM, cigarettes galore, and -- I counted -- five video screens telling is about the hundreds of products with the Star.
I was a little let down that none of the cash register ladies had on their chicken costumes, but they will come home to roost sooner or later. Kae is especially friendly and calm, although I have had good direct experiences with her coworkers at the checkout.
Holy smokers, they also have grocery carts. Think about this. Game changer. New paradigm.
The fixings counters on the east and north walls have at least ten fixers, for your Italian Sub, or what have you.
I wish-- maybe some day, please Lord --I will have a wood stove and/or a real fireplace. Kwick Planet does have firewood.

“This is right down the road from my house, and yes, I'm biased. This is my go-to store for all the little things I need to start MY day. Plus, they have an awesome mechanics garage attached to the store. Anybody looking for a good mechanic? A straight shooter, someone who will fix your problem as good, if not better. Then, the dealership for the same reasonable cost as a small mechanic, this is the place”
“Came here for dinner the other night and left pretty happy. The pizza had a nice thin crust with just the right amount of crunch, and the sauce tasted fresh, not overly sweet like some places. We also got a side of garlic knots that were warm and soft. Staff was friendly and checked on us a couple times without being annoying. It did take a little while for the food to come out, but the place was busy so no big deal. Overall a solid pizza spot and I’d come back again.”

“The employees at Don‘s car wash go above and beyond. It’s the only place I’ve ever had a manager offer to run my truck through the car wash a second time at no cost to me because he saw some dirt in my wheel well that he wanted to take care of. Businesses like this nowadays are few and far between them your business!”
“Petro has a really nice separate filling area for larger vehicles—completely apart from the regular cars. Our motorhome isn’t large, but this separate island would have accommodated the big guys with towed vehicles behind.”
“Friendly and courteous staff, Clean store and if your a regular on a hot summer day with children they'll even let a slushie go for free. Being good to kids says a lot about a person and one time my debit card locked up on me and I didn't have any cash and needed gas. The attendant give me ten dollars out of his own pocket and said if I run into another problem on the way home to give him a call at the store and he'd go help me get home I paid him back the next day and we been friends friends ever since.”
“Today, there was a problem with their fuel cells. I ended up pumping what I thought was gasoline into my gas tank. I was very low before fueling so the results of this we're immediate. I was able to drive out from the fuel island but after that 25 ft or so it died and repeatedly died after trying to start it. I thought maybe 5 dollars wasn't enough. So I filled my little gas can and dispensed another gallon or so into it. Same result, so I had it towed to Corwin Honda.”

“I almost forgot to give this shop a high praise!! I stopped in to get a trailer marker light fixed, And the tech, Miss Maddie went above and beyond the call of duty. She fixed the other loves truck stop mistake. Plus she was suppose to be off, but she stayed, fixed the problem. If you’re ever in this area, this is the shop to go to. I was very impressed by her professionalism!! Way to go Maddie!! ??”
“The 12th Ave N Pilot. Formally Stamart. Has a really great morning crew! Matthew is one of the guys who does it all. He welcomes you in at the pump, about 40 minutes later after I showered, here he is cleaning it. Then he's at the counter learning that as well Audrey is very bubbly and direct. Esther has strong leadership skills and I could go on. Thanks Pilot flying j Fargo!! One of the cleanest truck stops i have been to”

“This place is amazing!! Such a hidden gem even the locals don't even know how lucky they are!! I will be traveling the 2 hours to visit this place on a regular basis. This is a great combination of thrifting, vintage shopping, oddities and stuff for people with great sense of humor.
