The Plains Art Museum is a quality museum with fascinating exhibits. It features well-curated galleries highlighting regional and global art, including contemporary indigenous and traditional art. The museum is small but has a beautiful collection of art. It is also a lovely venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions, with space for guests to enjoy the galleries. The front desk staff are excellent. Admission to the museum is free, making it a great place to visit. The museum has multiple floors to explore, with a variety of art on display.
2nd floor had Native exhibit; 3rd floor had a quilting exhibit. I enjoyed this little stop. It’s a treat for free art in ND.

The lunch service at Field and Fork, the restaurant in the Museum, is the best food I've ever had in Fargo-Moorhead. The service is warm, thoughtful, and so connected to the space. Nourishing, delicious, beautiful. Can't wait to go back.
