“A few months ago, I stopped by Home Hardware for some renovation supplies and left disappointed enough that I posted a one-star review which I have since removed.
I went back last week, and the change was genuinely impressive. I stopped at the information desk to ask about baseboards, and Simian (sp?) was extremely helpful. She knew the products, the stock situation, and even when the next shipment was due. It made the whole experience smooth and straightforward.
So I want to extend a sincere “well done” to Corothers Home Hardware in Yellowknife. You’ve clearly hired some excellent, knowledgeable staff, and it shows.
In a small city with limited options, it means a lot to be able to shop locally and feel good about supporting a local business. Everyone deserves a second chance, and it’s great to see a business take feedback seriously and genuinely raise the bar.”
