It was such a great experience getting my puppy to socialize with other dogs while also learning valuable training techniques. It’s easy to watch YouTube or TikTok and think you’ve got it figured out, but these trainers go above and beyond. They don’t just show you what to do they explain why you’re doing it, so you actually understand what works, what doesn’t, and how to build good habits longyerm.
Their training style is reward based with no harsh discipline, which is something more people need to learn and appreciate.
On top of that, the entire staff is incredibly kind and helpful. even outside of the classes. Whether it’s advice on food, treats, harnesses, or anything else they offer, they’re always willing to help.
I highly recommend their company, their training classes, and the weekend dog socials. I couldn’t be happier with the experience, and for the price, it’s worth every single penny. Stella also recommends it for other dogs because it's her favorite place to be!

I am very lucky to have business with Sirius dog walking.My baby Louie has been with Dave for more than a year now. Louie was never exposed to wilderness walks before and he was scared to death with water. Dave took his time to spend time with Louie before he decided to take Louie with him which made me feel confident. Dave was also very patient and respectful of Louie’s own personality and Louie is now a such well rounded dog with new interest in water! I can always trust Dave with Louie and his group of dogs who are the best in Halifax area. Louie has amazing friends and another human who gives him so much love now. The bond he develops with his dogs is very special and unique. He know every single one of his dogs even better than their owners!I leave to work every morning knowing Louie will have his own fun with Dave instead of being worried about leaving him alone at home. Louie always comes home happy and satisfied. I would never leave Dave. Thank you so much Dave!!!

Love the branding and the cozy interior, it's definitely on the smaller side, but filled with plants and has such a welcoming feel. Shoutout to the staff who are always friendly no matter how busy it gets. Definitely one of my favorite quick coffee stops in the city!

Location is humble and unassuming. Just one barista on staff, so be patient. He was kind and helpful.
We both had regular fare lattes which were excellent with great presentation. Flavor was great. Not a Starbucks so dont expect a bunch of different flavors or options. But for a well prepared coffee or latte, it is a great option in the city.

There are so many options that it really feels like there is something for everyone. Owner is fun and the shop has all kinds of books and nerdy stuff hidden around. Don’t forget to add sweetener (if you’re into that!) — I thought my first tea was somewhat weak but realized so much of the flavour I’m used to comes out with added sugar! Seats are cozy and AC works well. Looking forward to maybe doing a tasting or leaf reading sometime in the future.

The staff were super patient walking us through a couple of game rules we had no clue about, which made the whole thing feel way less intimidating. They also had a solid hot chocolate that hit the spot after wandering around downtown Halifax in the cold. It's the kind of cozy, low key spot I wish we had back home, and I'd happily go back next time we're in town.

The Brown Hound Public House
1450 Ironstone Lane, HalifaxWe arrived and got an outdoor seating outside (father and I), its much quieter and it was right behind the kitchen so the smell was wonderful. Gene was a wonderful server. Knowledgeable, friendly, and favorable boosts up popular favorites on the menu to get you excited for food. Staff were excellent at checking in on how you were doing. My father loved the burger, and had minor adjustments cause he doesn't do very spicy, so he got provolone cheese on it. I got the steak pie 🥧 delicious rich and thick savory gravy and perfectly cooked tender beef chunks inside. The seasoned carrots 🥕 were delicious to. The beer fries.. how can anyone not love these? Crispy, seasoned perfectly and are always a winner with everyone i bring. The only cons are i think the seating out back could use a sweep and maybe power wash occasionally to spruce things up and maybe replace the mirror 🪞 add a bit of flowers 💐
This place was recommended by a physical Ed teacher I worked with and I've been bringing people ever since. Their ironstone location is a cozy spot to!
