“First pharmacy of you since leaving the Lacewood pharmacy the convenience is so much better. When you show up, they actually have your prescription ready and the number of tablets in the bottle that should be there. The staff are very courteous and nice and provide a wonderful environment. I recommend everybody go here.”

I’ve never had a better experience with a pharmacy, the second they get a script from my doctor they call me and let me know when it can be filled if I want it. When I have notes on files to check in on certain things they are on the ball. All the staff there are wonderful, I have for sure found my forever pharmacy. ❤️”
“Today I had the pleasure of meeting Trey, a pharmacist who truly went above and beyond in helping me! I had come in after being without my prescription for a week, and in a rush. And although she didn’t have the right prescription in stock, Trey immediately arranged for the other pharmacy on Quinpool to have it ready (which is also an amazing pharmacy btw!). She even went so far as to CLOSE up her shop temporarily and gave me a RIDE to the other pharmacy, knowing I was in between classes and short on time. Despite being super busy and working all alone, Trey’s kindness and eagerness was truly appreciated! This was easily one of the most genuine and compassionate interactions I’ve ever had with another person and especially with a healthcare professional. I also have friends who have only amazing things to say about her and this pharmacy. Thank you so much, Trey! I highly recommend her, this pharmacy, and the one on Quinpool to anyone needing pharmacy services!”

“This store usually has everything that I need. If a sale item is sold out, it is usually replenished quickly. I find that this store is very clean and well laid out. The prices are decent in today's economy. The staff are phenomenal. They are very friendly and willing to help. Some of my favorites are Nadine, Jonathan, Kim and Colby. This is my main go to store. Can access compounded medications through this pharmacy. There are still NOT a lot of pharmacies, within Metro or even Nova Scotia, with whom you can get a compounded medication, such as Thyroid, if you are unable to tolerate taking the usual medications such as Synthroid etc. For many years I had to get my medication from Ford Pharmacy in Moncton through the mail or by the bus.”
“I haven't used the pharmacy services at this location, but it's an excellent corner store. There's an eclectic selection of items: a full aisle of toys, games, and puzzles; a small selection of rugs; mobility aids and other pharmacy-standard fare; makeup; some home goods and toiletries; milk and eggs. I appreciate that there's a little bit of everything and lots of unexpected treasures. The flyer often has good sales as well - definitely worth checking out.”
“Overall a great store but this location has really changed and not for the better since the Covid19 Pandemic. They are often out of milk and low on other things. They are not open in the evening when everyone else is in the mall anymore. I was in this afternoon and the cashier I dealt with was really struggling with the lottery machine and other stuff. Staff need better training or work with a co worker to help them until they are ready to go solo. I felt bad for her because you could see her frustration and confusion. Thankfully a kind supervisor or co worker came to help her. I really hope things get better.”
“Denise and Terry in the home health care section were super helpful. I fell while visiting Halifax, injured my leg and needed an air cast as a result. They were great fitting me and getting what I needed. Store was very well stocked with all types of mobility aids. I highly recommend them and this Lawtons location.”

“This location is so quiet which is good but they don't have much variety like their other locations. it's really close to my home but sadly they don't have much makeup stuff and lipsticks shades which i use so i always have to go to other stores which are far away.”

“I’ve been getting my medicine from here for a couple years now, I have chronic pain and anxiety and often struggle building up the confidence to leave my home. This team of humans always help me feel welcome and safe. Greg always remembers my name and that makes me feel like I matter. I live all the way in Dartmouth and travel pretty far just because they’re kind to me. My meds are always ready when they say they will be, they’re willing to fax in prescriptions when I need a refill and it takes weeks to get into the doctor, they let me ask all my embarrassing questions without judgement. I feel lucky they’re here.”
