“I stopped here for the washroom earlier this week, like I do when travelling in many rural areas. However, what set this location apart was that the washroom was warm and clean (on an early winter morning), and they had quickly shovelled me a path, so I didn’t have to walk back out through the slushy snow. It’s the little details that make people feel welcome in our communities.”
