“Great customer service at this store. The store manager, Jason, set aside time to walk us to an item and shared some travel stories. The cashier, Emma, was equally as friendly and suggested checking out the Cabot Trail. Thanks!”

“Ever on the look out for quality ingredients for cooking Asian cuisine, I was so happy to discover this market locally.
The prices are extremely reasonable for import foods and specialty items. Not to mention excellent variety and selection.
More than sauces and soups, there are extensive frozen food stuffs in their freezer section.
For the sweet tooth, there are many candies from the Eastern hemisphere to tempt your pallet.
Return visits are guaranteed.”

“I love that I can bring my own containers to fill at Bulk Barn - there are lots of pantry staples you can get there in your own jars so you don't have to buy them in plastic bags at the grocery store! And the grind your own peanut butter is a hit with my kiddo ?”

“Really tasty baked snacks. The croissants are delicious. Also the variety of food products is great. The vegetables are really fresh. Unfortunately, no self check out available.”

“Cheapest place for groceries in town. As an example, the other day I went and noticed Kicking Horse coffee was on sale for $10. Happened to go to Superstore later in the day and noticed it was also on sale there... for $14. Before I left I noted a half dozen other things exactly the same: 20-40% more expensive. Few years back I searched non-sale prices for a random sample of staples (beans, eggs, coffee, etc.) and they were uniformly more expensive. Again, up to 40% more! This is the only place in town to shop. The photos show some comparisons for the same products. Those are from 2022 when I got mad and did the research but it holds up today.”

“I want to let you know you have an amazing Employee, his name is Bill in North Sydney. I don't know the store very well, I asked an employee in the bakery department where I could find bread crumbs first, she replied Grocery..I said what does that mean? What isle? So in the end couldn't find them. So I again was looking for a specific cheese looked in dairy ...than went back to where the specialty cheeses were. So I asked Bill. Not only did he know exactly what I was asking, just describing the container he knew exactly what I was talking about. He took me back to where it was and found for me! You have a great employee...he also said if you ever need anything at all I will help you. Best experience at this location
Thanks
Dana!”

“Got a few snacks and sushi.
We ran in for a few things. They need more lactose free items
I can sometimes find what I need but most times I cannot. Ie cottage cheese and sour cream.
Makes us go to another store to get it.”

“Dropped into Foodland in Sydney Mines. Not one of my regular shopping spots but i did notice that some of their prices are cheaper than Sobeys. I think i will be dropping in more often..in fact they have some great specials.”
